Originally ordered a 42mm SG BSB at 8.04am, confirmation email came at 8.05am on April 10th. Since then status has been stuck on "processing" so I've just ordered a 42mm Sport Aluminium White Band so we'll see which changes to "preparing to ship" first. The other watch I'll cancel.

RIP my old Pebble!

Well, I waited in all day. Basically sitting on the doorstep with my macbook checking the tracking page. It got to 5pm and I had to nip out so got someone to come and sit in the house for me. When I got back, no driver had come.

Checked the tracking and it had been updated to say 'delivery attempted at 12pm'.

Obviously the driver couldn't be assed after 5pm and decided to just mark me as not in. There's absolutely no way I would have missed him. Was basically peeing in a bucket to stay at the front door!!

And because I don't have a card they said I would have to await another delivery attempt on Monday.

What a lovely day off i've had

Mine was a 4 day cycle

1. Charge
2. Perpare to dispatch
3. Dispatch
4. Delivery

Some people had a 2 day cycle though:

1. Charge/preparing to dispatch/ dispatch
2. Delivery

So it maybe a bit earlier.

I had a play with it before launch in the Apple Store. It is a cool device, but for me not having it launch day means a little of the coolness has gone. I really am considering putting it up for sale on a Spanish eBay as they are selling pretty heavily. Make a bit of cash and buy something else or back something cool on kickstarter.

Have really been pissed off by customer services especially the boss I spoke today, so cancelled my new MacBook order (not really needed and cannot make a quick buck). Used apple since my dad first bough Macintosh in 1984. Kind of thinking differently and trying something else out.

Sorry to hear that, hope it comes soon :-(

It's just so beautiful. I cant stop looking at it.

After getting mine about 11am and playing with it lots, it got to 4% battery about 7pm.

Put it on charge and its already about 70%.

Not bad, but like every Apple product, we will be stuck to the wall.

I shall miss the nutty banterings of this thread.

No matter though, I will erect a shrine to sir Francis Watchingham of Appleton to commemorate the journey we've all been on!

Some muppet in a Hertz rental van turned up at my door and as soon as I opened the door he dropped my Watch on the ground. I honestly had a blind panic that he'd smashed it.

UKMail aren't my first choice from now on.

The Watch is totally fine tho. Absolutely love it.

Well, my watches arrives solidly within UK Mail's time. They're gorgeous. Had a few issues with iMessages not sending but a factory reset and using separate Apple IDs sorted it.

Will be keeping an eye on this thread! Thanks guys!

My UKMail order turned up in an unmarked van driven by a rasta, big knitted hat and everything. I guess they are outsourcing to meet demand!

About the performance though? The drop didn't damage any of the internals did it? Does the taptic feedback feel normal?

I couldn't imagine dropping it :O I don't blame you for panicking!

Has there been any movement on those ordering 42mm SS BSB with dispatch in June? I placed an order today (swapping my 38mm :( ) and want to know the length of wait - please not june!!!
