Is it just me, or has anyone else customised their watch face 16 times already?

I'm on jellyfish right now. Thatll change in 20 minutes.

EDIT: Apologies to our friends who did not receive one today.

I can't make my mind up. I keep flipping between modular and jellyfish!

Who's killed the battery yet? My 42mm SS BSB came 75% charged out of the box so I've not yet charged it. Played around with it pretty constantly since 3:00pm and still hanging in there at 17%. I can see, once the novelty and fiddling dies down, this early lasting two days.

Guys, do Apple process orders over the weekend or only during working days? no watch in sight for me yet :(

I think just go to Apple Store webiste, and you can buy it there, or just on selfservice website also when you type in your S/N

I tried on the Apple Store app but it says you can't buy it without other things in your cart

Saw the following very interesting prediction of space grey deliveries on another thread, based on order email times (mins and secs):

03:50-04:00 mon (4/27)
04:00-04:10 tue (4/28)
04:10-04:20 wed (4/29)
04:20-04:30 thur (4/30)
04:30-04:40 fri (5/1)

04:40-04:50 mon (5/4)
04:50-05:00 tue (5/5)
05:00-05:10 wed (5/6)
05:10-05:20 thur (5/7)
05:20-05:30 fri 5/8 (5/8)

05:30-05:40 mon (5/11)
05:40-05:50 tue (5/12)
05:50-06:00 wed (5/13)

It assumes a fixed 10 second cycle but I reckon if this is even remotely accurate that would still tail off as he bulk of the orders will be nearer the beginning.

It matches my expectation that we would be lucky to see our space greys next week.

My SG BSB is still processing, ordered 08:05...

East Midlands Airport is where Apple Watches are destined to land in the UK (other Apple products too) because it is close to UPS na UKMail's main hubs in Tamworth and takes the most freight out of any airport in the north of England.

A UPS flight from Philadelphia in the U.S landed around 8pm so fingers crossed this was full with lots of Apple Watches!!

Anyone wanting to see this can go here... http://uk.flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS237

EDIT: Further research on the page linked above shows that UPS237 is a two part flight which flies from Louisville to Philadelphia, then Philadelphia to East Midlands, then returning again in the same sequence. It's been doing the same thing since the 11th April.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Louisville the central hub for America, Apple wise? Plus the 11th April is when they started flying to East Midlands from Louisville so frequently, sounds about right to start moving Watches around?

Mines exactly the same as pictured. And so was the try on unit in store.

Thanks for the feedback. Been looking at the pics on the Apple website and it seems that both the classic and modern buckle straps are like this... glad mine isn't faulty, but it's really bugging me now!

I created separate post re this issue just to make sure. But from the units I eyeballed and all the unboxing videos it would appear they are just like that and it's not a fault as such

Just edited my previous post above which sheds some more light on the situation in regards to importing the watches! Looks hopeful indeed!

Seems like the aircraft is currently on its way from East Midlands to Cologne.

So, the Watch was delivered whilst I was out.

And now UK Mail, say that I must have photo ID to collect it. (I lost my passport recently). Gutted.

Can't have delivered Saturday, gonna have to wait until Monday.

Don't all UK apple orders pass through Syncreon Technologies in Hinckley before being passed to couriers?
This is my understanding anyway as they are Apple's UK Fulfilment provider/distributor.

Every Apple order I've ever had has come from them (well iPhones, iPads etc).
Though if I'm right Hinckley isn't far from Tamworth either?

UKMail nightmare!

OMG my day with UKmail has been a nightmare!

When I woke this morning(I took the day off). I firstly had a delivery of 10:55 to 11:55. I was excited.

Then later in the morning it changed to 15:10 to 16:10. I call them and they say yes that is correct the driver just left and he just scanned everything. I thought okay fine no problem.

I take my dog for a walk at 11:55. The UKMail delivery guy shows up at 12:12! 3 hours early! WTF! What is the point of giving you a time slot if you can't stick to it. Oh and I signed up for email and text messages. Didn't get them!

So I then spend the entire afternoon on the phone to them, their call centre don't know anything at all. They keep on telling me different things for example:

1. Oh he came early sorry he will come on Monday
2. You can collect it tonight
3. You can't collect it tonight as Apple have said we can't release them!!!
4. The driver has gone back to the depot and will come this afternoon

Then finally at 6pm I thought let me call again for the 6th time and ask if I can collect it today. The guy said SURE you can collect it today.

I then hire a zip car for two hours and go there. They keep me waiting for nearly 30 minutes while they find my watch and then they give it to me.

What a nightmare! Apple please use UPS or DPD. Please don't use UKMail they are a complete waste of time. They don't know what they are doing and their call centre is useless. They were supposed to call me back and they never did. Instead I called them at least 6 times.

I'm so grateful I got my watch on launch day but it has been so stressful

Anyone who has a delivery from UKMail, please DO NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE!
