I'm really pleased with the battery life on my 42mm SS.

I charged at 11pm last night and wore it whilst I slept. It measured my heart rate every 10 mins throughout the night. I snoozed the alarm (which is great btw!) four times, then ran for an hour with the Nike Running app. It's now 4pm and the battery is at 54% still.

The stats are showing 16 hours standby and 1.5hrs usage in that time.

Also, I went into the Stratford Apple Store to enquire about AppleCare, as I was in too much of a hurry when I ordered it online at launch. The employee was able to set it up for my watch just by checking the serial number. She also had the same SS with white sport strap as me and was one of the only employees in the store to have her watch delivered yesterday. The others have been glaring at her all day apparently!

Did you get yours with the BSB

It's based on the confirmation email you got from Apple, view the headers/full raw email to get the seconds.

Thanks. Confirmation email at 08:05:39 secs. Would love to know the time I was accepted initially via the  store app as it originally said the dispatch would be the 24th - I was so happy, it seemed hang for a while. I reckon the delay between buying and confirmation email was easily 2 mins. I was miffed when I'd slipped all of a sudden to 4 to 6 weeks.

Apple watch workout app fault.

I went to the gym earlier really excited to try out the workout app.
Set it to "other" and without a goal set, I started my workout with a little jog on the treadmill.

When putting my watch down to my side it turns the display off, when I raise it again it automatically pauses the workout, sometimes. It's sort of random. I couldn't get it to stop pausing.

I then spent 30 minutes on the phone to Apple support. We tried a few things but he said I would need to re - pair it with my phone. Ive come home to do that and its still doing the auto pause thing. Im now trying a full reset and if that doesn't work I have to call support back.

Pretty annoying.

Anyone else had any problems?

Thanks

I ran with the Nike Running app and didn't have those issues. I first set the 'activate on wrist raise' to 'previous activity' so that you get your current active app every time you raise your wrist and not the clock face. Not sure if that might help? Also, is your strap too loose? If it's loose then activity might make it lose contact with your wrist, which would lock it and might cause app issues?

My confirmation email came in at 8.04.31 which I'm guessing means the order went through about 30 seconds before that? I also got the 24/4-8/5 window
