no... apples batch update systems do not work on weekends :D

every notification i get on my phone i'm hoping is either from the Deliveries app or the Apple App Store app with an update .. but alas... none from either of those today... :(

Not for me mate but loads of our cousins across the pond are getting shipping notifications as we speak....might be a glimmer of hope

that's been happening since yesterday... they are getting all the SG stock for the past few days and UK getting no love... *yet*
 
Just been to Asda and saw the store assistant wearing a 42mm space grey (the very one I'm waiting on) I felt so rubbish lol. Least my gf caught his eye with her white one

Does he not know the customer comes first, he should have taken it off and given it to you!!

Set it to "other" and without a goal set, I started my workout with a little jog on the treadmill.

When putting my watch down to my side it turns the display off, when I raise it again it automatically pauses the workout, sometimes. It's sort of random. I couldn't get it to stop pausing.

I then spent 30 minutes on the phone to Apple support. We tried a few things but he said I would need to re - pair it with my phone. Ive come home to do that and its still doing the auto pause thing. Im now trying a full reset and if that doesn't work I have to call support back.

Pretty annoying.


Anyone else had any problems?

Yeah so Iv'e got a definite fault with my watch. Might have to be replaced. Waiting for 'engineering' to get back to me in the next couple of days.
 
Payment Cancelled?

Hey Guys,

Was wondering if any of you had a weird issue with the payment for the Apple Watch. My payment was not taken, but in process from NatWest while my Apple Watch was being delivered but now that I have received my Apple Watch the payment has not been taken by Apple. In fact, it just came back to my account?

Errm, anybody had this before?

Very tempted to make arrangements to pick up a Watch from Dover Street Market next week.

Thinking about picking up a 38mm Sport to use until my SS order sees movement (is that crickets I hear again?).

People were talking about 'the email of death'. Thats nothing compared to the email I got. I live in Ireland so the only way to get an apple watch was to pre-order it on the UK site through Parcel motel a parcel forwarding company. Anyway I pre-ordered my SS BSB on 10/4/ at 08:06. To my horror my delivery date was June! On Tuesday I got an email from apple telling me that they CANCELED my apple watch order as they no longer ship to forwarding addresses in Ireland:mad:!!!:mad:

I was so mad as it took them nearly 2 weeks to tell me this, and in that time I could of ordered to a different address. Then 30 minutes later I got another email telling me that my problem had been resolved and no further action is required. I'm really concerned that my order might of been put to the back of the que so to speak as it was canceled. The only thing is that on the order page on apples website it still says that my order was placed on the 10th. I hope my order will come before June. May is gonna be one long month!.....:(


Thoughts??
 
Oh man. If you don't get at least some movement on Monday...I'll do absolutely nothing and just wait... :(

I just don't care anymore.

That's what I have done. I have made a right mess of this. I now have on order a Apple Watch Sport with Blue Sport Band as they seem to be shipping very quickly, meanwhile, I carry on waiting for the Stainless Steel model with Black Sport Band I ordered.

I guess I'll either have to sell the Sport on eBay or see if I can send it back!
