I really cant work out he whole DSM thing do you think there is a link between Angela Ahrendts and the owner of DSM are they getting frisky with each other at the weekends or something!?
I wonder if it has to do with the whole fashion stance they are taking with the watch...?

I am confused why everyone is losing their minds that they don't have a watch yet. The delivery estimate was 24th April - 8th May so well within that timescale. If it gets to 9th May and nothing has arrived then we all a right to moan but still another 12 days (including today) to go.

I paid using a gift card I have on passbook. Hopefully as soon as its charged, I'll get a notification. I hope. Is that how it works?

Probably because that doesn't tally with what they are reading in other threads around this very site. Some people with delivery dates between 12/5 and 27/5 have already had their watches dispatched and others who ordered on the 23rd or 24th have had their watches dispatched. Granted that was not a UK order but it does still create this atmosphere of no one seeming to have a clue what is going on and hoping that they will get lucky like some of our US cousins.
Another possibility is that the orders for the less popular combinations that they have excess stock off are being fulfilled quicker.
Apple fully intended to have stock in their retail stores for launch but had to scrap that idea in the week or so before hand due to low stock levels. This is proved by the reservation system webpage which was seen until a few days before launch.
DSM had a signed contract with Apple to be able to sell watches so Apple had no choice but to send them some stock. I imagine DSM had no idea they would be the only store in the UK selling the watches and were/are completely unprepared for the dirty unwashed masses of people queuing outside their store. I would not be surprised to see them announce they are no longer stocking the watch in a day or so.

We want to see progress, but I know once my account is charged I'll switch to refreshing my order page for minute updates, then tracking numbers. Damn, it's never going to end
