It's not going to happen today...

Let's all accept that there will be no movement on the orders today either. I don't have any inside information. It just helps my level of calm.

I work with all types of stainless in my job and it is prone to marking but I thought its gonna mark less than the ally one so went for SS I guess the marks are showing up more as its polished so in certain angles the light shows them up
 
Has anyone ordered a 42 SS black leather loop recently had any dates given to them or that? I just have "June" but was wondering if anyone had any update?

4 o'clock not yet but it will be a long time coming,that's if they stick to the usual pattern
 
My charger is out for delivery today so when it gets here I might sneak into the back of his van and see If I can find me a watch gotta be quicker than waiting for an update from apple
 
So walked past Dover Street Market and they appear to have received a sizeable delivery from Kuehne + Nagel (who I believe are Apple's shipping partner). Already a queue forming and loads of scalpers today.

Please do check with them that they have them before you make a trip down.
 
Called the DSM just now and they say the only Sport 42mm they have today is Blue. They are hoping for another delivery this week, but don't know what is coming in.
I've waited this long, I may as wait a while longer for the Black SG which is what I really want.
 
The idea about deliveries once a week makes sense. I guess the logistic company can batch process everything and the delivery companies can resource accordingly. So maybe deliveries will be made only on a Friday so the delivery window gives Apple 3 opportunities to complete the pre-orders.

Perhaps it is a very slick operation and we will see massive movements this week as cards get charged etc as the process is well defined for weekly drops instead of just processing in small batches.

I'd be very happy with Friday just so long as I see some movement then I can go off and do something else until then!

I am in the same boat 8:03, London and no update.

I agree that not getting it until 8th is hardly the end of the world, but no updates is very poor and gives the impression they are disinterested. I am also not a fan of the DSM set-up; odd that Apple stores don't have anything in whilst non Apple stores do.

I am in favor of retail experimenting and the pop-up in Selfridges was nice/classy yet I really hope they do not follow this route going forward.

True, True. I'm trying to arrange my life this week around a possible delivery date. I'm telling my friends I may have to change plans incase I get a delivery notice from Apple. They think I'm quite mad! They just don't understand. Haha

I know, I have my girlfriends MSc graduation, If its delivered that day I am going to be in such a mood!
