Order Thread for UK (BST)

I'm living in hope it's like last Tuesday after 4 they preauthorised cards maybe this week they will actually charge!!!!!!!
Does anyone know if they have preauthorised do the bank knock it off after a period of them not actually taking the money??

Last week, I believe people were charged first.

I've set up my account to send me an alert when the balance falls below a certain threshold (i.e. approx 1x SS Apple Watch :p) which makes it easier to keep track of. I only hope that it will also alert me about pending charges.

Two days ago I was hopeful that my 12/5 - 27/5 delivery slot might be brought forward after what :apple: said about people getting them sooner and the experience of some of our US cousins but seeing the first wave peeps getting them further and further into their delivery slot with zero updates and zero new deliveries make me worried that my delivery slot could slip still.

Just can't work out why no other UK orders have been dispatched since last Thursday, especially considering DSM have apparently had a number of deliveries since then.

Just think ..... this time next year we won't have to keep refreshing pages as we'll get a little tap on the wrist when the email and/or app notification comes through on the Watch! Eeek :D
 
42SG BSB (along with everyone else it seems)

So I ordered mine at 8.01 on the 10th, got the 24/4-8/5 date, the follow up email and the money left my account on the 21st... all this sounding familiar?

Anyone else in same boat?

Same only the didn't actually take the money they just ask bank to hold it

Nitpick - that's actually not quite right. Apple Pay gets a token from your bank when you add your card to it. From then on it is able to derive a per-transaction token by itself.
 
All quiet in the U.K meanwhile in the good of' US of A

Not a bad idea. It would certainly explain why there has been next to no movement in the UK whilst the US orders have been shipping all weekend.
