Just joined....

Hi Everyone, I just joined MacRumours (the correct spelling heh heh) to be part of the pre release fun.

42mm Space Black here with black sports band and yes I will be swapping the small band for a large band in another colour with one of you folks!

I will be at work at 8am... but BOTH of my bosses are off today LOL.

Lets hope the site is not blocked...

Cambridge store for me. It is rammed at the best of times. Today will be carnage.

I called the support team at 7.30gmt last night to check on if you can order online at home and pick up in store. The poor lad simply did not know, they have not had that info released to them yet.

EDIT. I forgot to say, good luck getting the model you want x
 
I should know this as I've ordered enough from Apple Store before but payment isn't taken until, when, shipping? Forgot launch was today due to fractured foot and suddenly realised that I haven't sorted finances for this yet. But if I order this morning payment won't be taken for nearly two weeks? This makes a difference...
 
So should be possible to order 38 and 42 then try on at the weekend then cancel one?
 
If I remember correctly the do put a short hold, or authorisation on your payment card so the funds need to be there at the point of ordering.
The hold is only temporary and actual funds won't be taken until the product is being shipped.
But I could be wrong it's been a few months since my last pre-order and I never really pay attention to that bit lol.
 
Pretty restless night, kept checking the time :eek:

Now re-located into my man lair and fired up my Mac and iPad to go along with my iPhone.

OMG. The time is going so quickly.

All these Australian photos to look at. So much new information to take in before making the final, final decision what to order.

The sports bands look really great.
 
I'm ready for the pre-order :D i just hope that the 4-6 weeks :eek: estimate was wrong otherwise i might just wait and go in store to try on before buying
 
Ugh, I've been fine all morning but now that the time is getting near I'm getting stupidly excited. Why do I always end up this way on pre-order day, such a big kid :D
 
Good morning everyone. Long time lurker here on the forums, thought I'd finally say hi and wish everyone good luck on their preorders :) Hoping to get 42mm stainless steel - milanese loop is first choice, otherwise I'd settle for the black sport band. Exciting stuff!
 
Welcome to the forums. I am soo jealous of all you people that can fit a milanese loop round your wrists I so wanted to get one of them.
 
Short hold would be ok. Funds there at the moment... Thanks. Think I'll risk it. Worst that can happen is they'll cancel it I guess.

Don't know whether to go app or website... App usually is better but website has express checkout. Got my iPad and MacBook at the ready ha so which ever comes on first just go with that. Sorry answered my own question haha.
