It's like waiting in a slow queue when you are in a rush *and* the person currently being served is taking ages for some reason *and* you don't even know how many people are ahead of you...

... and having picked SG, I'm definitely in the 'wrong' queue, you know, the one where the guy with the bit of paper is making 26 different enquiries.

Ha Ha - Yep, exactly! :)

(However - I also know that ultimately, when I eventually get served, I'll be happy I didn't switch queues...)

I really don't think that is likely.
As confused and patience-testing as this launch has been Apple do not usually push delivery dates back for people that have already been given a promised date.
If anything (going on past records) they usually deliver earlier than promised.

I would be *really* surprised if you don't get your orders *before* the promised June dates.
 
It's been a bizarre experience buying the Apple Watch!

I agree I had May delivery, but today preparing for dispatch. You will all get your time, just hang on in there!
 
I gave up and ordered a White sport 38mm and will just send my SG one back when it arrives, probably in 2019 as I order it On 12th! Lol

Have to agree with everything above. And as much as I like having JRobert around I hope he gets his Link watch very soon too. I can imagine how it must feel...

Also wanted to say that if it was not for this forum I think I would be feeling much more frustrated than I am. It's really good at least getting some sense of what is going on and where we are in the queue. Without this forum I would probably be on the phone to Apple customer services every third day (FYI I've managed to resist calling them at all so far).

So thanks everyone for being here (although I guess we all would rather not be if you see what I mean :)

Tut, tut, tut TimothyBe! This is exactly where you're going wrong!

You need to recite this prayer at least 3 times an hour, and because of your blasphemy you also need to say 3 Hail Mary's and 5 Our Francis'... Otherwise it's the VERY back of the queue for you!

Seconded - I've had my impatience sated a little by seeing Mrs HexBaboon's 38mm Pink Sport so fingers crossed for some early movement next week for the 08:08 gang and beyond.
 
New colour bands and new faces?

im really hoping for a PURPLE sportsband!! I would order it this minute (that way it would be here just in time for Christmas!!)
Also hoping they bring out new 'faces' every now and then
I'm a little unsure about battery life but I've been hammering it this first 24hours so it may be ok when it settles. I wear my watch at night so am charging in the evening and it used 20% just on my wrist over night! (I want it to do the heartbeat thing so power reserve won't work.
On 23% now (5.25pm) just just another few hours to last.
 
Ive been charged, and preparing for dispatch. 8:05:59 here, shame apple dont do saturday delivery, so I have to wait until tuesday, which I am away for meetings with work until thursday night ! :(
