Ordered mine the day after (SS 38 BCB) but still noting, not shipping that fast :(

And yes, the 38mm is the one I want, 42 was just too big for me. I cancelled my other (42SG) order. I want just 1 watch, not swapping/returning it with Apple because I want it early. These folks make the queue longer, knowing they want another watch, but testing out the smaller one even though they don't want it, and abusing the return policy.
Wondering what will happen to all those returned watches, could explain why the watch is expensive :)

You should hopefully see changes today or tomorrow. The 38mm Sport White isn't that popular in the UK - so it should have a fast turnaround time :)

The reason I ask is that I think the heartbeat sending stuff is fake. A lot are saying that it does change but I think that it will still send before you even put the watch on.

It's also worth noting that the watch only reads your heartbeat every 10 minutes unless you start a workout activity. I imagine they chose to prioritise sending a heartbeat message quickly, over the accuracy of the data.

Like, I guess it tries to send its most recent dataset if it has one, otherwise it just sends a generic beat, but I can't really test that since I have already worn mine :)

Edit: I do think it is at least sending locally captured data if it exists, because I've sent heartbeats in different situations (i.e. sitting on the sofa, or right after walking up a big hill) and when I am more active, the beat is definitely faster!
Edit edit: Also, the beat I got from a friend who is in infinitely better physical shape than me, was embarrassingly slower than my reply beat ;)
 
I ordered 38mm SS WSB and BCB at the end of last week and both are still processing, so not necessarily the case.

You guys won't like what I am about to suggest but I could see it happening this way....

Is it possible Apple will work a Friday system of shipping new orders to stay within their timeframes? I will be climbing the walls shortly if that's the case but knowing Apple as I do, it's just a prediction.

Highly unlikely. The UK grinds to a halt on weekends because it's a premium that Apple hasn't paid for. In the US its 24/7 but in the UK it's Monday/Friday.

I think we will see a lot of movement today.. but we do have to wait till 4-5pm to see the cards charged I think.

Well UPS stole... I mean "lost" my Space Grey Sports watch. Apple have been no help either yet and it will likely be weeks before they are able to replace it as they have to launch an investigation.
 
Guys... Are we set for another disappointment day? Every day more and more people get fed up with this waiting and we lose some people every day. We haven't seen any movement from Apple in the past 5 days whilst other nations have seen plenty of movement (USA orders are now at the 2-4 hour mark).

I have lost nearly all excitement and enthusiasm for this product because of no movement or communication. If nothing changes today then I plan to just forget about it and be like 'when it comes, it'll come'. It won't be special any more. Call me bitter...
 
So lets think about this.
Angela told in her video that she would communicate on a weekly basis regarding the Apple watch. How come then that we are left in the dark and nobody has a clue about what's going on?? No information is leaked, nothing.. I find it strange

Annoyingly my credit card online banking doesn't have the facility to check pending transactions so some stuff takes days to appear...
 
I've just checked my order status and one of my Sport Bands (the black one) is now preparing for dispatch :) but my :apple: Watch with Blue Leather Loop band and the extra White Sport band i've ordered is still processing :(

You say it: it was a leaked video, so it wasn't supposed to get public. I'm pretty sure we didn't get no new video because Apple surely responded to that leak with a fierce internal communication.

still 1000nds of employees, and nobody says a word? thats not realistic.
Its probably because there is no information told to the employees as well. contain it at exec level, which indicates there are some serious production issues

Yea there are dates as far back as July. I don't have them yet only my black sport band has been dispatched but my Apple Watch with blue leather loop and the White sport band I ordered are still processing.

Apple must be having production issues or they simply did not make enough for demand and maybe they underestimated how many people wanted the Watch.
 
You would have thought if apple can produce a 42mm link bracelet and have it to you for may then they could just make the device and slap the band on .... why does it have to be different?

Link bracelet devices are set for july? it doesn't make sense haha
