So as we head towards 1 major batch of dispatches in 11 days (yes eleven!) it's great to know that Apple are getting watches out to people as fast as possible*

I am starting to loose interest in the watch as well, i won't cancel but the excitement has most certainly worn off, hopefully it lives up to my expectations otherwise it may even be a return. i know its not late as i ordered 42 SG BSB on the 11th at 11.43am so am advised June, what i am so surprised at is the shortage of stock or the under estimation of orders and the amount of time it is taking to complete these orders.

My moan for the night
cheers

Just off the phone to Apple, had a good laugh about how it took UPS 13hrs to go 13miles, maybe they were checking it out to see if they worked, but said couldn't help as is courier issue, spoke to UPS who say left at depot & del now monday, ggrrrr!!

Collect from depot?

Same as Ive ordered, it seems as it was one of the most popular choices and with low stock means a fair wait. We're just going to have to hold out #

I can honestly say that the battery life has really surprised me. I was expecting the 18 hour claim to be a gross over estimate but it's way better! I'm using it from 7:30am till 11pm and the battery rarely drops below 40% with a fair amount of usage for messages, games and calls. Brilliant!

Anyone else think the loudspeaker is really quiet when making calls or is just me?

Got my watch today finally and it's the 1st thing I tried and was slightly disappointed at the max volume? Hopefully something I'm doing wrong

Thanks in advance

Mine was the same. Read somewhere that apparently it's a bug and a reset sorts it out. Tried it on mine and it made it much louder.

To do a reset hold the digital dial and the button down together till the phone restarts.

Worked for me so worth trying if anyone else is having this problem.

Yeah the novelty is wearing off on me too, i ordered SG 42 but cancelled as i preferred the SS look and sapphire screen. now i have July shipment, so its more waiting for me.

I ordered 32 Sport WSB for my wife, she got it 2 days later... She keeps saying its crap this and crap that, doesn't answer calls when she's driving 100%, volume is so low you have to hold watch up to ear, theres no decent apps, she goes gym and says their £1000+ machines say a different heart beat etc. The sports bands are really hard to get on and off daily, i've had to buy her a classic band to hopefully stop the moaning about the band.

I keep thinking to myself is this really worth the wait, and the money? i'm paying £520 for this and £299 + band for hers... its just become something else for her to moan at me about  as i bought it for her haha.

I'll just keep waiting like an Apple sheep, it will probably ship early during my holiday starting 15th June knowing my luck.

I just picked my 38mm SS WSB today and am returning it tomorrow. The watch had a tiny mark on the side, besides that it doesn't do much. I'll rather play with my phone.

She's right, it is crap. I'm returning mine tomorrow lol. Mine has a tiny mark on the side and I don't want to wait for an exchange as it'll take too long.

Apple rang again this afternoon to ask me if I'd be in at 8pm tonight as they will be sending out the replacement via express courier. Fantastic service from Apple to resolve the issue!

I'm half expecting it to be Tim on the motorcycle!

As promised, the watch was delivered tonight bang on the time they said it would be, sadly not by Tim though. Very happy. Faith in Apple restored :D

I have stopped caring about this watch and I am starting to see no point in it especially reading reviews online or speaking with friends who own the device. My friend who ordered a 42mm Blue Sports 2 weeks after me received his last week and he hasn't been praising it to me. He said that it hasn't added much substance to his day to day life as you would expect. He really praised the design, the navigation instructions on your wrist (my car has sat nav with traffic built in) and the ability to view the first few words of messages and emails. He spoke of the heart rate monitor being inaccurate and doesn't think the price behind the item compares to the actual value.

My delivery estimation went from 12/05 to June and now 27/05. I am considering cancelling it as I will be going on holiday for month in the U.S. on the 14th and returning late June.

Where a ours are you going? I'm heading there as well for roughly the same duration to the west coast. Hoping I might be able to grab a watch in stores there...

Don't see many of these in the wild! Maybe the UK link folks time is coming...

I can safely tell you all, I was losing interest in getting the watch too but as soon as I got mine (today), the excitement came back and I've been playing on it non-stop since. It's a great little extension to iPhone and it can only get better.

I was thinking that I have a few options:

a) Order it when in the US and hope it comes before I leave for UK (at this rate, it'll come quick)
b) If they start selling it in stores before I leave in the end of June then buy it there and then
c) Leave the UK order open and ask when it's dispatched to be kept till x date for me to pick up (don't know if they look after your package with respect since many online reviews say UPS don't really care for your package when it's in holding)

I don't really know. I might just let it be and make a decision when the time comes or just cancel it. I'm not too fussed any more to be honest. I'll be visiting Miami/ Florida for the majority of the time since the other halfs family lives there however I will try to nick one of their cars and drive out to the west coast and stay there for a week.

I'm in same boat. Heading to US for 2 weeks in early June - my current order is slated for July delivery to my UK home.

One other option I'm looking at - if they're not available in stores by the time I go - is the U.S. eBay store. (Trying to get it sent to my US address to save import charges.) The premium on buying sealed Apple Watches there seems to be less than on the UK site. Is this likely to be risky?!

... with the second generation.

Don't get me wrong. This version cannot get major upgrades regarding
functionality. It's probably obsolete next April.

I like it too, very much so. But expecting some miracle from these specs ignores reality.
