Hello all

Long time MacRumors reader and Mac user but first time poster here :).

I ordered my 38mm Apple Watch Sport with a white band on the 10th after trying it on first thing in the morning at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. I got a June dispatch date, which I thought I'd have to live with.

Anyway, mine is now preparing for dispatch (have attached an image). I'm wondering if this actually means anything. Don't want to get my hopes up (or anyone else's!).

Thoughts?

Does anyone here know what airlines/freight company Apple use to ship to the UK? I'm aware in the U.S its UPS/Fedex but what is it to the UK? Been trying to track flights in but can't figure it out as easily as you can the US flights with UPS?

This is doing my head in ! :p

Come on Apple why hasn't my watch order moved from 'Processing'..

You better come thru for delivery on the 24th...

It says on their Twitter page they're not affiliated with Apple in any way so allegedly they've been lucky with skimming news of other sites I guess.

Read it again, they state they work for apple ;) though the Twitter account is not an official account.

WTF. Ordered the same :apple: Watch at 9:02, I've got a 24/4 - 8/5 delivery window, but still processing (Germany though).
Hope it confirms, that I'll get my Watch on Friday, everything else would be a disgrace in my opinion

My thoughts are that you're bragging that you've had a June dispatch date but it's showing as preparing for dispatch earlier than expected.

What time did you order your watch after your try on, i did the same as you in Newcastle! same watch as well

No! Don't mean to brag whatsoever! I'm just wondering whether to read anything into this or not. As much as I want my watch, I'm happy to wait until June if needs be.

I get that but why not get them to the carriers ready for Friday?

Because they don't need to? Because there may be additional cost and impact on the carriers? Because it gives the carriers more opportunity to deliver them before the 24th, which Apple do not want?

Tons of reasons.

They're already in the UK, at least the first wave is.

It was at 9.15am in the store and then I ordered it while I was there. I then realised I was daft and should have just ordered it beforehand and if I didn't like it cancel the order.

Yeahh mine was roughly at the same time... nothing from my end yet, I'm hoping it'll change over night :(
