So is it consensus that if we're shipped at this point, we should see our ATT deliveries on the 24th?

My shipment just went to prepared for shipment. That's a pretty good sign I believe. Since you were in the same boat--I thought I'd let you know.
I don't plan to cancel the ATT order until I see it has shipped which will hopefully be tomorrow night.

im in the same boat... mine from apple shipped and from att is backordered
 
Just got an email from Apple confirming that my girlfriend's Apple order has been canceled. Kinda nervous about it since her ATT order hasn't moved yet.

I haven't gotten an email from Apple about my order, but my ATT order is moving.

That's not good.
What is the ship date on the order you have that went through --is it 6/20 or 6/21?
 
my ATT order shipped.
apple is at Not yet shipped. actually thinking about cancellit it so i don't have the return hassle. maybe wait for it to show up on fedex first so the shipper has it.

Give it time, I bet your Apple order cancels. I'm just waiting for mine to.

I called ATT, and she all but confirmed I would get my phone on the 24th. They said my girlfriend's, whose is still at the in progress state with no shipping info, is good to go and will not be cancelled but has yet to be boxed for shipment. It could be here on the 24th, but doesn't have as good of a chance of doing so as mine.

So right now, the only phone that has cancelled is my girlfriend's from Apple. If for some crazy reason my Apple one doesn't cancel and ships, she just got an upgrade to 32 GB compliments of me (I paid for all of them anyway).

I think it will cancel too based on the carrier denial flag.

I heard they will get "picked up" tomorrow so tracking info may start then.
I hope they are in the US at an ATT warehouse and not China.
 
I called AT&T and got my eligibility back.

I found out that my reservation isn't really a reservation. The Apple phone support guy got me on a waiting list at the Apple store (for people who had their orders canceled by Apple). The guy at the domain said that corporate hasn't told them yet what they're going to do with those people but that they would be calling us before Thursday to let us know.

So I'll be standing in line Thurs. Just not sure which line yet.
 
Now that mine says shipped--I'm not certain what to do with myself.
I am so used to entering that damn captcha Im not sure what to do with my day now
 
You should at least get one from 1 of the two. And yes they can they stop a order like that once it's on it's way here!
 
i too ordered from both att and apple on pre order day using the same line that was eligible. att updated to shipped today with a fedex number. apple site still shows order as not yet shipped and expected delivery date of the 24th. my cc has been charged for both. i hope to get both phones, but won't be surprised if they catch on and cancel the apple order :(
 
I ended up canceling my AT&T order. Apple one is in Alaska right now.
 
I guess ATT/apple figured it out. My apple order just changed to canceled. So only one discounted phone for me. Other line not eligible until feb 11.
 
I got jacked, too. My 32GB got canceled. Only the 16GB at AT&T and the 16GB at Apple left. Good thing I still have my two reservations, definitely gonna have to use one.
 
I'm sure you guys have heard the official word now that some if not all the pre-oders will arrive on the 23rd.

My iphone from apple is scheduled to get to me tomorrow and my att order has also shipped and will be here thursday. My wife needs a new phone badly but she isnt eligible. Could i give the extra one to her and let her activate it and still keep the $199 price?

No. AT&T will charge YOU the difference.
