im beginning to wonder if apple doesnt enjoy just pissing people off? they seem to do things in such a strange way at times that leads to more and more angry people until finally they say, ok we have made enough people angry now, lets fix the problem...

And that's the most factual thing I've read in this entire thread.

I'm as hopeful as the next person that 10.5.2 hits today and Apple finally updates releases Leopard. But aside from information coming from folks receiving the developer builds, we really have no idea if 10.5.2 is coming today, next week or next month - just the quiet hope of desperation.
 
List In stacks!?

Guys I just buggered up my leo install then i reinstalled (10.5.0) and all went well i openend software update as soon as i installed and did that - i made my stacks as usual but odd thing is when i open up a stack it goes in list view!>? WTF?! I dident install any 3rd party app or anything this is right after I downloaded my software updates!? anyone care to explain PS: how can i post a screen shot with a stack open?? ive tried cmd + shift + 4 but i dont know how to copy the pic into preview.... anyway please someone comment me on this :eek::eek::eek::eek::apple::apple:

CMD+Shift+3 and post it on Imageshack.us and then put a link here or something

Try command shift 3
 
noone has told me why its doing this :cool: but anyway when i right click it give me an option for the other two or i can chose how large i want the icons to appear.... just the usual stuff (eg sort by... blah blah blah)
 
short of fixing a few bugs, possible few tweaks to enhance performance what will the new webkit offer thats getting everyone so worked up about??? Whats all the fuss over?

If that screeny was in violation of any apple law - im not a developer so you can go F*ck Steve Woz!

PS: only 30 more min until its 12 noon in cupertino! cant wait!

Sure, it might be a while though my internet (router) just crashed and im on the back up (about 50 sec left!) better hurry typeing ill do it when it comes back on - probally about an hour so ill post then.... crap 10 sec left!

Yeah, I really don't believe it. Probably got a developer build from somewhere. I'd like to see a screenshot of the build number.

EDIT: oh, no his router is down... :rolleyes:

I just installed a new hacked firmware for my MBP's dvd drive and in the course of this discovered exactly how easy it is to fake the version number in "about this mac".
