Very meta. People complaining that a beta test program isn't working right and not up to snuff.

Seriously, it's just a beta. Surely you guys have more important things to do today. Just put it down and do something more productive and come back later when demand has be satiated a bit.

I imagine w/ Apple pushing out up to 1m codes it's servers are getting quite slammed right now.
 
Public Beta Code

I don't know if anyone realized this. . .because I'm not going to read 18 pages worth of comments but try refreshing the beta program redemption page when signed in to generate a new code.
 
Took ages to finally work again (the page here) but I finally got (a new) key and am downloading now :)
Goes pretty fast for me ^^

I have plenty of patience. Don't presume to know anything about me. It just makes you look dumb.

That doesn't excuse the download process. Installer issues, bugs in the beta, things like that are to be expected. But when so many people attempt to download and it doesn't get more than 20-30% complete before it implodes and they repeat that process 10-50 times, then we are talking about more than patience. We are talking about a piss poor beta rollout.
 
Anyone else have it say the download will begin or w/e and just have nothing happen? It's not downloading anywhere I can see. I checked all the App Store tabs and see nothing.

I'm not gonna say what most jokesters normally say about Safari, but I will say this:

With the new translucent bar at the top, as you scroll through all of the repetitive comments/complaints on this thread, you can almost make out the tears. :p

Not really. It's a beta, nothing to get excited about.
 
redemption code

multiple failed installs, now I have the redemption code already used. tried refreshing the page, login/out, still getting the same redemption code.

Any tricks on how to get a new code?

NEVERMIND

I unhid the previous attempt that failed and clicked download again, I can at least start to download again

i installed the beta 4 developer preview and i didn't like it. i got the redemption code and it works but i don't think ill install it. don't really like yosemite.
