So i proved you wrong about the 5/5s change and you talk about the atlas. First the 4 cases fit the 4s and vice versa so no the changes are internal and do not affect the cases. Also unless you have used the atlas case basing it off of a video is no bueno. Anything else you want to try and claim? and you call my comment asinine

The video is supposed to make it look better than it actually is! Big Mac commercials make it look awesome and when you get it for real it's nothing in comparison.

All I'm saying is if the video has an oil slick what do you think your going to get for the real thing?? Probably something 2x worse.

Well maybe that is the reason for the delay? I mean until the product is out in people's hands nobody knows for sure.

How is it not really? There are multiple problems being reported which is far from getting it right

People don't like a slight rattle when shaking vigorously. I can't hear it during normal use. Bulkiness doesn't count.

Someone complained about the port cover which seems like an outlier. Yep that's about it

I couldn't disagree more about bulkiness not 'counting.' I'm having a tough time deciding whether or not to keep the OtterBox. Definitely like the sound, no rattling, and the screen protector is great. Can't stand the bulk though (at times) as well as the ridiculously small opening for the lightning plug. I was NOT happy when my $40 Apple 30-pin to lightning adapter wouldn't fit and I doubt many lightning cables from other manufacturers will fit either. Igoing I keep this thing I feel like in going hot have to shell out a bunch of additional $$ to overpay for some extra Apple lightning cables.

I'm just saying you knew it was going to be bulky. They didn't trick you. So I don't really count it as a issue.

Grind the sides off the adapter that doesn't fit. It'll take like 30 seconds.

Yes, they should have made it to be able to use the apple adapters, but this is a quick easy solution. I've done it for other cases.

That's exactly what I was going to do...until I lost the stupid thing the other day!

Does anyone have defender and an armor case? I can't find a single picture or video online comparing the two. If someone has both, could you post a side by side of the thickness of the two?

You lost the case or the adapter?

Thanks so much. I just thought of something else. Is the screen corners or edges hard to hit correctly with this case? The defender has angled cut outs but the armor doesn't look like that.

the armor is not angled like the defender you are correct. but the plastic on the armor around the screen is not nearly as high off the screen as on the defender so i don't find it hard to hit the corners at all. personally i found it harder on the defender.

Thanks again. Can't wait to try mine out. I've been tracking the package and it should be here Monday or Tuesday.

Don't be discouraged by the negative posts here. I don't have clips that rattle or any of the problems mentioned. I came home from work yesterday and took my phone in the armor case and rinsed it off in the sink after a dusty day sanding drywall.

but the other issues speak for themselves. Same old poor otterbox quality...

The other "issues" seem like outliers and a matter of preference.

Like I said someone complained about rattling which I can only hear if I'm shaking the **** out of my phone which I never do. And I can only here the slight rattle if I put my ear to the phone when shaking.

Like 1 person complained about the clip. Seems like an outlier and hardly an "issue". EVERY lifeproof case was a defect which is not the case here.

Compare the threads of lifeproof and otterbox and you will see that otterbox got it right. For every 30 good cases there might be an outlier, which is perfectly fine.

Hardly any "issues."

That's one of the many reasons I got this case. I drill metal and wood daily for work as a locksmith and can't stand getting all those shavings under my defender's screen or in the port holes if I don't use a case. Plus I have a son and another one on the way. He doesn't get to play with my phone hardly ever, but if he does its nice to know that if he throws it down the stairs or in the sink like he does with everything else, the phone and case will be good to go.

There is no reason to worry about the case rattling. One of my locks rattles too, but it has nothing to do with the latch. Its simply the latch piece slides up and down just barely, but doesnt affect the actual locking of the case whatsoever. So nothing to worry about there really.
