OCD is OCD. :p

Yea I agree. The small movement in about a millimeter of the clip does not mean the case is loose at all. If I push the clip vertically up and down you can notice it kind of but doesn't effect the performance of the case.

It's only noticeable if you vigorously shake the phone.

I dont have to use my finger to make it move, I was just showing the direction that it did move so that it was clear this was not the up and down rattle being talked about. It just wiggles back and forth like that when I am cartying it. And it is definitely loud and noticeable when actually using it.

if you have to use your finger to make the noise or shake the phone to make the noise, how does it happen while you are on the phone? when I'm on the phone my thumb is right over the clip. why would i wiggle it or shake the phone when I'm on it.

but mine does not do that so i would return it if it bothers you that much. i would be concerned that it is not pulling the back in tight enough if the clip is not under tension. mine is as tight as a frogs vagina. they are water tight

...and to answer your question, it does that anytime the case is moved. I dont have to shake it or touch it to rattle. Thats why its so bothersome to me...but maybe I'm just being too picky.

I also can hear this clip clicking/rattling during normal use. I purchased a $100. brick, not a clicking party toy. :)

Does anyone else have the issue where the back side of the case where the clips attach is raised slightly more than the other side? The back sits at a slight angle on mine and makes the o-ring visible.

It seems like that could present a problem because it could cause the o-ring to dry out more quickly, accumulate dust, etc. causing the waterproof seal to decay or become useless under higher pressure (multiple feet)?

They are all like this, you are not alone............

I did finally decide to return mine yesterday. Not because there was any problem with it though. I just could not get over the bulk and the weight associated with the case. Oh well. Otherwise it was a great case for me.

I have until this Sunday to decide. The size isn't a huge deal to me, but man it's a big case. The things that irritate me are cosmetic. I'm going to put up a video review I'll link to but it's not holding up like a $100 case should. Other that than it works great, exactly like it's supposed to, and I can turn my OCD off with my phone, lol.

Give us a link to your video. Thanks.

I can understand that.

I have noticed just a bubble like thing or two on the screen protector. I contacted OtterBox about it and you have to send pictures of the front and back of the case as well as a detailed pic of the damage. You have to take the pics on a piece of paper with the date and your name on it.
I'll see what they say, they are small but I can see them and I'm a little OCD when buying a $100 case.
Other than that the case is working fine, audio is so much better than my obex and LifeProof. I did take the phone out to take the photos and I was like wow this phone is lite!
I also had a problem pop up with oil slicks but I think it was that I cleaned the screen with some wipes and they left a residue

Did the same 2 days ago...really liked the case but the bulk of the thing was just wat too much for me.

Has anyone noticed the home button seems a bit squishy after taking the case off?

i think muscle memory has set in. you probably just got used to have to pushing the home button a little more firmly then before. now with out the case it has a different feel.

i dont feel it is squishy

No watermarks, oil slicks, audio problems, mic problems is all I can ask for which are plagued by the lifeproof cases.

The buttons are slightly harder to press but not by much.

Had the case on over 1 week now and still no newton rings.

Bought one yesterday to give a try. I really had some problems with the Lifeproof I had for the iPhone 4. So far I like the case, no problems. I will be taking it on a 5k mud run (www.ruggedmaniac.com) tomorrow so I can take some pictures of family that are running it with me. Should be fun. Hopefully it does better than a buddies ruggedized camera that crapped out in the first 300m of the Tough Mudder a couple months ago.

The home button on the Armor case absolutely sucks !

yeah for people with small weak thumbs it could be a problem. think of it as your stress ball or grip strengthener.

home button works fine for me. it it was any lighter to the touch it would be getting pressed my accident in my pockets
