On a side note, a member on a dutch Apple forum had his 13" MBP delivered today by UPS. So apparently our orders are not just sitting somewhere. There's a chance they're actually moving.

Well if they can do that, surely they can put them on the ferry to Harwich.... Or Felixstowe. 6 hour ferry= DONE BLOODY JOB.

The chinese just need a shot of lighter fluid and a slap on the buns and they'll get going. Lets just hope that come May we won't be still be plane spotting.

just got an email from apple.

"We are happy to inform you that your order is in transit however we are experiencing some
unexpected delays in delivering your order.

This is due to ongoing air traffic disruptions across Europe.

Your business is very important to us and we regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Visit online Order Status to view the most up-to-date status of your order."

nothing exciting, but it came out of the blue suggesting that delays are going to be longer than expected.

Yep

Same message received here, kinda annoying as i cant even see if its moved at all. Could be waiting a long time for this one considering the news on sky at the moment.

Hi all,

Another Swede here. Waiting for a 13" stock low-end, ordered April 14th at noon. Have had this status for a while now;

SHANGHAI, CN 04/19/2010 10:25 A.M. ORIGIN SCAN
SHANGHAI, CN 04/17/2010 12:03 P.M. ORIGIN SCAN
CN 04/17/2010 7:21 A.M. BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

Sigh...

Exactly the same for me. Check my sig. Along with a couple of other Europeans, actually. I think our MBP's are all on one big pallet, waiting to be flown to Cologne.

And I believe flights have commenced to and from Colonge on a very limited basis. So there's hope.

Exactly the same as you two! We should start a club.

Im running dry

Im running dry on youtube videos and reviews of the MBP to keep me occupied. Heaven forbid i might actually have to go out and enjoy the sunshine tomorrow at this rate! :)

I don't understand how you guys are all having problems and I haven't had one! Ordered 14th, shipped 17th delivery before 26th with no hiccups mentioned.

Where do you live cuz if you live anywhere near Iceland then you shouldn't have gotten it. If you live live in like America or somewhere not in Europe then you shouldn't have any problems

I recently rang up Apple (today) they said my custom order 17" had been shipped from ShangHai.

They talked about air space being full and unsure if it would get out. But he said it'd be here by 26th April.

Though Apple website said 27-28th and tracking site said 5th May.

LOL, so basically he knows as much as us... i.e. naff all

European orders should start getting through now as flights are being re-established. Don't know about UK though - all airports still closed!

"apparently" UK destined products go via Cologne and then by road to UK, so fingers crossed.

Does anyone know what the status of German airspace is now, is it open from 9pm?

Hi!

This question might be a little off-topic.

I did order my Macbook Pro 15" i7 but i did also order 24" display, keyboard and magic mouse. Will this take longer to arrive? I live in Norway btw.

Tnx.
P.S Sorry for my bad English :D

IIRC it's closed until 2 am. But there's a ****load of planes starting and landing already, as they're allowed to fly with a "special permit" for visual flights.... fingers crossed :)

Cool, and all airports in the UK will be open from 10PM BST!

Mine was shipped yesterday and arrived today. Typing on it now, lovely step up from my iBook G4 :D

Mine should come to switzerland, but last entry is

19 Apr 2010 09:10:00 Pudong International Airport Delay Due To Bad Weather. Recovery Action Underway

:-(

Also waiting for switzerland delivery, and also have the exact same scan entry. So maybe they are sat on the same pallet... Do we know where the next hop in the TNT journey will be?
