Too late. All the Europeans whose MBPs have already shipped ordered them on the 13th, probably in the first couple of hours. At least your order won't be affected by the volcano. At least this particular one.
The Macbook Pro I bought last Tuesday is gonna be my first ever Apple computer. After waiting since Christmas for the product refresh and now surviving the volcanic fiasco 2010 I'm really gonna appreciate it when it arrives. The ordeal is only going to make the bond between us stronger!

I think it means that it's being sent from Shanghai to Cologne and Apple/UPS have sent the brokerage info to Cologne customs in advance.

Unfortunately all our paperwork says that. It is the customs papers that go ahead of time (electronically) to Germany. Most of us got this status on Saturday and got false hope. I think we are waiting for another "departure scan" before we can say it is really on the way.
F*cking hell, it is so stupid to inform me the transfered emails, what the hell I do with the customs emails..
Yea, it will be if the MBP can be sent electronically together with the custom documents.
This is very annoying I am up at a silly hour tracking my laptop. Invoiced on the 19th and when I rang apple rep gave me some rather lame story of the cutoff for my order is the 22-23 this week. Even went as far to say it will get here no matter what.

I replied I know, but I am willing to pay the extra and go anti glare I don't care.

same here, 3 years ago MBP 2.4. also went via amsterdam to get the keyboard switched.
This time it was also supossed to go that way, until i cancelled the extra remote which was adding 4 days to my delivery time! Now it's not clear where its heading, but also waiting KB switch, so lets wait and see

There is seriously no excuse for them to be sat in china now. I am tracking 6 of our orders going to different places in Europe and none of them have moved since last night

I agree. I just hope that they didn't scan some intermediate arrivals/departures because of the chaos and lack of local infrastructure.There is seriously no excuse for them to be sat in china now. my guess is yours was not CTO because apple have a big place on NL so I guess yours was getting shipped from there, not built there. If it came from shanghai that would have been on the tracking
but its was built in Changhai and that last week (W.15), i know that because i just checked the serial number (I got the serial number of my MBP due to purchasing AppleCare Protection Plan). So it was transported last week from the factory in Changhai to The Netherlands... I ordered mine on 13th.
