Our MBP is stranded in ShangHai thread [UK/Eu]

This whole situation is insanely unique.
I mean, I never had such problems. EVERYTHING I bought online yet was delivered (almost) exactly when it was expected.
This makes me feel that somebody has planned all this :D.
I decided to buy a Mac last year already but (probably like many us was) was waiting for the new MBP which just HAD to come. And now FINALLY - it's like god doesn't want us to get them - there is that vulcano whose internal-whatever had to explode just now!... I wonder what will be next..:rolleyes:
I suspect a dead pixel smack in the middle of the screen.
 
Hmmm is it reasonable to think it will be delivered tomorrow?

There's been a report of a user in this thread who suspected his brand new macbook was used.

Scary stuff.

Mine was ordered on 14th....dispatched 17th and heard nothing since.

It does have a date of 26th but I have no idea if that is expect delivery or dispatch of the 'merged' parcels.

I ordered mine on 8th, shipped 16th (after offering me the new one). It's supposed to arrive on 27th.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Anyone still on this since saturday morning? Ordered 13th. Shipped 16th.

I'm wondering why it hasn't had an import scan although they are probably waiting until tonight to scan it along with all the others arriving in the UK on the early morning flight from cologne (if there is one. check the schedule).

Mine also still there. Supposed to be coming to Cambridge. I'm sure it will make it tomorrow :).
 
just this morning, I'm still complaining how you guys' MBP are moving, even though it's a further route. And mine was stucked in Korea.

Mine is 1 step behind, still in Cologne despite arriving together with you guys on the 23rd. And still "adverse weather", no delivery estimate, nothing. Remains to be seen how accurate is Apple's suggestion that it will be delivered Monday :rolleyes:

There should be flights from cologne to EMA (and Stansted?) tonight and then it will probably get to the depot before the delivery trucks leave provided you aren't too far away from either of the airports. Their estimate of monday is probably 95% certain. We can but hope :)

EMA most likely, it's coming to Oxford. I'm a little suspicious of the Apple service guys's assurance of the delivery date as it was given after me screaming that I'll cancel the order if they don't tell me when it will arrive. I'll try to think it's Monday, but it's not the end of the world if it get here Tuesday. Just funny that mine seems to be the only one left behind, must be a BAD one...

I'm hopeful, as I'm sure you are - my delivery date is still tomorrow. I don't know any more than you though - so all we can do is wait I guess. I've had the SSD for it (Crucial C300) here waiting for it to arrive for quite a few days :)

We have been tracing this flight. I think it landed a little while ago, though I didnt see it in the radar after Netherlands. In a few hours we should see a scan if our macs were on that plane.

EDIT: And we have a scan in Cologne!!!

Do you have the date and time of your order to post here? I'm intrigued as to why it missed the connecting flights. I ordered at 2:58pm on 13th April if anyone is interested.

Ordered on the 8th? Struth, this is getting better and better! (or worse and worse).

Everybody keeps blaming the volcano, but even in the States (USA), there are people that have ordered on the 13th, and have not yet received their MBP's. (see "Has your MBP shipped yet" thread)

Can't really blame the volcano!
 
Yaaaaaaaaay!!! The MBPs arrived in Cologne!!! They could be here in Berlin by tomorrow morning methinks! Anyone else nearby?
