I called apple today, I was told that the date 5th is deadline date and the 26/4 is the next update for tracking. The 26th is the day it is expected in uk DC and then next day delivery. True or not who knows?

thanks for that! first useful bit of info on my sorry situation! Well here's hoping it's true!

(I was hoping that they would actually deliver on the 26th tho...)

is anyone else in similar position to me?
ordered 14th, still no tracking info, just still merge in transit?

Hi people!

This is my tracking:

I'm a little confused. Not because my MBP is in Alaska, and theoretically arrive tomorrow. But now I know not the day :(

I'm from Spain (Barcelona)

Anyone have the same situation?

My situation is the same:

ANCHORAGE, AK, US 24/04/2010 22:06 DEPARTURE SCAN

SHANGHAI, CN 25/04/2010 4:49 DEPARTURE SCAN
KOELN (COLOGNE), DE 24/04/2010 2:55 PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE / RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY
SHANGHAI, CN 24/04/2010 3:00 DEPARTURE SCAN

SHANGHAI, CN 22/04/2010 11:45 ORIGIN SCAN
CN 22/04/2010 2:25 BILLING INFORMATION RECEIVED

But after reading some people's thought, I believe it's in America for a good reason, and it's on its way to Cologne tonight, and I hope it will reach UK tomorrow to be out for delivery. Let's hope for the best :)

I ordered a MBP, AppleCare & HP printer (free with rebate!) on the 15th with the items due to be shipped together with an estimated delivery of the 29th. I received an email from Apple last week saying that "We would like to advise you that due to ongoing air traffic disruptions across Europe we will be shipping your order in two separate deliveries."...great I thought, however, looking at the order status, my MBP shipped on the 23rd and is currently in Alaska with an estimated delivery of the 26th still (yeah, right!) but the HP printer & AppleCare which had a delivery date of 21st-23rd, still haven't been shipped?

Found it on flightradar24 in south belarus. Signal was not great and it didn't appear on radarvirtuel.com (that one doesnt seem to extend east as far as flightradar24 does.

Anyway, it has landed now and I presume the pilot is making his way to McDonalds.

If the estimate previous was correct we should be up and running on the final leg (to Cologne) in approx 90 mins.

Question is will they provide a connection to our respective countries overnight for delivery tomorrow... we'll see, I guess :)

Where did you find the flight number?

Yeah Im in the same situation. For some reason they are sending all European bound mail through Alaska instead of sending it through Poland???
Im here in Ireland BTW.

Same here - waiting.... waiting ..... waiting .... NO info from Apple.... still NO info from Apple.....

If only I had known all this before, I would have bought a Sony or an Asus...

I am glad to know that my MBP is not alone :p

Then, the flight UPS41 have 3 hours 48 minutes left to arrive al Cologne. If really our MBP are in that flight, and arrive to Colgne in ~4 hours. We will receive our new MBP at time (or maybe one day later)?

PD. I like a man possessed by pressing F5 in this forum and in the tracking page xD

Nope, still merge in transit status since being shipped on 16th. Not sure what's worse, having confusing UPS tracking info or nothing at all....:(

Estimated delivery schedule is still set to 5th May, but underneath says 26th. Very frustrating.

Same. No info.

Bought on the 13th and still no info??? This IS depressing..

Either you're bulls*itting in a very possible way or you are telling the truth...
Why bullsh*t? Apart from the merge in transit info that I was answering too, and an expected delivery of the 5th May the merge in transit orders have no idea whereabout in the world their orders are. It looks like all us people who ordered additional items at the same time, even if it was only Applecare have been put to the back of the line:(:(

Anyone know what this means? Is it heading straight to London? Ordered mine on 17th.

Just joking - it seems so incredible that you ordered on the first day and you still have received no update...
Makes you wonder about this "wonderful Apple experience" everybody is talking about..

This will be my first ever MBP (if it ever arrives) but probably will be my last... even if the thing blows me.... (pardon my french)

Unfortunately I doubt I'll ever get rid of the bitter taste left over from this experience..

Nope, I'm in exactly the same boat. Ordered 1pm on 13th and still sitting on no tracking info cos i stupldly ordered applecare. Merged in transit status since 16th.

It's looking good.
Turns out it's actually quite a good thing the MBP's went to Alaska.

These posts amuse me. Some of you are such prima-donnas. Maybe you weren't aware, but virtually all of European Airspace was closed for several days while a natural disaster occurred in Iceland.

Now... if UPS had sent planes up into the ash cloud and crashed, losing your MBP in the process, you'd have something to complain about. As it is, you have nothing, nothing at all to be complaining about. If you were so desperate to get the computer why didn't you just drive to your local store.

I understand the frustration... but to suggest it's so important as to stop you buying the product again, even if you love it... Ohh come on, it's just too much.
