Our MBP is stranded in ShangHai thread [UK/Eu]

Damn. Seems like somebody in Finland has his UPS Tracking updated. And I had my MBP in Köln since 24th also :( Nothing for me yet. It should be at least in Stockholm, Arlanda now if it could make it today.

Delivery Date scheduled on 26th :mad:

I am in the same situation lol, I got applecare and a remote control, expecting that it would make no difference. However, there is no need to have a hissy fit over it.

I've just been told by an Apple Rep that my merge in transit order (13" ordered on the 20th), has been "Prepared for Shipment" .. but when she checked she told me its already on its way to the UK.

Is that possible?

Has _anyone_ received a merge in transit yet?

Just off the phone with UPS and it's definitely on it's way. All things considered i don't think the turn around was that bad. I ordered within minutes of the store coming back on after the refresh was announced. I am certain a lot more people will have their delivered today as well. Good Luck!

I think having paid close to £2000 for a computer on which I rely to make a living I'm entitled to have any emotion I want to when I don't receive any shipping info....

You should try emotions, they're great !

Is there anybody else here who still has his last tracking update from Köln (24/4) and no further updates? Seems like everybody have Departure Scans from Köln to the next destination :D

I mean it should be moving out of Germany by now.
 
Merge in Transit

Anyone know what "out for delivery" looks like when you have the merge in transit version?

Mine says:

Current Delivery Status
In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule
26 Apr 2010

Is that the "it'll be out for delivery today" status?

Well done all.

It seems as though those of us who ordered anything extra such as a remote, printer or Applecare have been royally screwed over. Has anyone who had Merge on Transit actually had any information yet?

It is a joke, Apple, get it sorted!
 
For my friends in The Netherlands, I just rang UPS and asked them about the late trailer/delivery reschedule. It seems the truck with our MBP's arrived past 9:00 this morning but that does not mean we will not get ours today. It's also not certain that we will. I'm still in doubt. Shouldn't there be an out for delivery status first?

I am afraid not! the 26th to the right means the date they will update next. The actual delivery date should be above and at a guess 4/5th May although apple say this week..

It will say out for delivery when it is..
