So at this point I am quite annoyed. The delivery is to my place of work, which is a reasonably large company. The postcode on the order belongs to my workplace only (searching for the postcode on Google Maps yields an arrow exactly in the middle of the building). The street name is also on the address they have and is correct. There are large signs with the company name (which they also have) clearly visible from the street which is only a few hundred yards long.
My direct phone number is also included in the order so they clearly aren't trying very hard to obtain the information.
Northampton doesn't look like the depot I would expect them to use for a delivery here (I'm in Cambridge) so it looks like they have sent a non-local driver who has invested no effort in trying to find the place; they might even have simply called it in undeliverable without bothering to come near here. Surely in this day and age delivery drivers should be equipped with satnav with postcode lookup?

hehe, unfortunately Ive already read all posts in this thread so you can't scare me! But from up here I can get a nice shot if he tries anything clever like that! Maybe if I aim correctly I can do a nice flying body tackle head jump on him (I am on the second floor, it should be possible....)
I have a merge in transit on the way and last week I sent Apple a mail about my order which apparently shipped on the 17th. The answer I got was that it was scheduled to reach the DC on the 29th! That seems absurd to me. I also got a Mail last friday telling me I would recieve my order this week. I have to say im kinda confused right now.
YAAAAAAY! Guess what just arrived, guys?! w00t w00t!!! My tracking info still read the "IMPORT"-scan from Cologne last night and I was beginning to wonder wether it might still be sitting there, but then: BOOM. The doorbell. I was told last week that it would be in the DC on 26th (hense the date next to shipment on schedule) and would be out next day for delivery 27th. My shipment was sent on the 16th..
Then I was told it was due for delivery on Friday 23rd, then I too got an email saying next week... called today and they just send before May 4th..
I was charged on my credit card on the 16th... so I am at the point it will be here when its here..
My status is "shipped on the 17th". At this point I will be extremely happy if it's delivered this week. Although I'm guessing it won't be.
Anyone from Southampton, UK or somewhere near got their delivery this morning? I am feeling rather impatient now...
Mmm, This getting ridiculous now. Why can't they have a two stage tracking system? One to track to the DC, and the next one to track to the customer! Grrr

- Ordered stock 13" MBP and Apple Remote on the 16th to Stockholm Sweden
- Shipped on the 24th
- Expected delivery on my first Apple Account page is the 4th-5th of May
- Clicking the 'track shipment' button gives an expected delivery of May 11
- The 'merge in transit' indication was up before but is now gone
- Still no tracking information
- Status = 'on its way to final destination'

Still waiting for a CTO pro ordered 10 mins after the store updated and reopened on the 13th.
Have had conflicting communications with apple, their dublin help desk have even less idea of when my package may arrive than i did. A polite lady telling me how to log into the order status on their website, even though ive done it a 50 odd times to find info on my order. Nothing has change on that since the 16th of April when the mac supposedly shipped. I wish i had not bothered with that stupid case now. They really need to look at their tracking methods, its just irritating.
By the way, the lady on the phone indicated i would have my mac on the 3rd of may. Will believe it when i see it.

Not until they have merged on transit, I estimate it you will get it on the expected delivery date as it has just been shipped (4-5th May).
Mine shipped on the 17th after the order on the 16th, and I have heard no news whatsoever about my order (besides the generic emails). Apple really don't give a crap about anyone of their customers.

Just been going round in circles with them on the phone. I`m another merge-in-transiteer, order placed on the 14th and a shipping email received 24th with an estimated delivery of the 10th May, a grand total of four weeks.
I was hoping for at least some reassurance that the 10th of May was a wild over-estimate, but instead got a load of guff about weather conditions and flight delays and no assurance it would be here earlier. I pointed out that it appeared those who weren`t merge in transit were receiving their orders far quicker, even with later order dates, but she wasn`t willing to discuss this.
My one small victory was confirmation that the Applecare, which they kindly activated for me on the 23rd, would be given leeway to reflect the date I receive my computer. Whenever the hell that might be.

I just spoke to apple sales folks and was told that my MBP is in Luxembourg, and has not yet been merged with apple care, and that Luxembourg is their hub for all EU deliveries... wtf...
