Beckett is starting to get into his groove, after a shaky 1st. Now we just need a few more runs.
He probably didn't want to give them any more motivation to throw at himA slide by Manny would have been nice. Or at least try to put a hit on the catcher..
Lugo and Crisp are pretty much two automatic outs...

Wouldn't that be ironic??He pitches a great game and gets no run support..
OMG THAT ****ING BALL HIT THE YELLOW LINE

ugh
then you have joe **** and tim mc****face talking about how it bounced.
if it hit the wall in the park, it would have bounced down. that's basic physics.
it hit right off the top edge of the wall, above the yellow line. that's a home run.
how can anyone be a Manny fan. Learn to run. I never could be a Red Sox fan until he is gone. Cut you hair and learn to run!!

stop being a whiney bitch. he's one of the best hitters of this generation. we wouldn't be here in the ALCS without him. we wouldn't have won the 2004 world series without him.
he's also one of the hardest and most passionate players on the team. he'll be there doing extra bp all of the time. (this is why i'm a fan of his anyways) he's ****ing dedicated. he loves to play the game. plus some of the stuff he does is great entertainment (like going to take a piss in the monster during a pitching change)
he does make a stupid play every once in a while, but he's a great player. he should have ran to second, but it didn't make a difference since lowell got out. and that ball was a home run.
For the record it was not a home run, it hit the line and came back.
Watch the replay, the video doesn't lie.the only way it can bounce back up is if it hits the top of the wall. that's basic physics. if the ball hits the side of the wall, it WILL bounce downwards. go try it

Top corner is yellow, yellow is not out.I saw the replay. It hit right on the top corner of the wall.

No, he's not a great player, he is a great hitter. There is a huge difference.
He's actually a great 'player' as well. He plays left in Fenway better than anybody, and is always near the top in outfield assists. But that shouldn't matter for a guy who can carry teams on his back.
