Now if Lowell, Drew, or Tek can make something happen, give us a little cushion, I would feel much better. [EDIT: or not..]
Plus, we got the bottom of the Rockies order coming up in the 9th, so we SHOULD be able to pull this out.
But I have seen too many Red Sox games to call this one done.

They may have 2 championships, but to me, they always have been, and always will be the Red Sux.
The last thing I will say to this thread before the Hot Stove gets some wood is this.
The Red Sox have had an easy road the past 2 times they went to the World Series. The teams they played sucked and did not even put up a fight. Until the Red Sox can beat a decent team I will not honor the championships. At least the Yankees had to fight to win. The NL sucks and so do the Red Sox. Beat a real team and we will talk.

Another totally sour grapes and inaccurate statement, which in behalf of all us STL Cardinal fans, I find it typically uninformed and biased. Of the 5 times St. Louis has played NYY in the World Series, they've won 3 of those 5.
Again, congratulations are due to the Red Sox for a great Series. Let's hope the Yankees fall off the map, next year.
