three outs left...just end it red sox.
Agreed.
On that note, I'm gonna leave now to avoid the celebration.
The last thing I will say to this thread before the Hot Stove gets some wood is this. They may have 2 championships, but to me, they always have been, and always will be the Red Sux.

The Red Sox have had an easy road the past 2 times they went to the World Series. The teams they played sucked and did not even put up a fight. Until the Red Sox can beat a decent team I will not honor the championships. At least the Yankees had to fight to win. The NL sucks and so do the Red Sox. Beat a real team and we will talk.
Go Yankees 2008.
PS Yankees 26 Red Sox 7.
Im saying that the Yankees played good teams and won fair and square, and yes the Rockies do suck. Just like the rest of the National league. Are you saying that the Yankees suck then?
What an insult to the Rockies, by the way. Nice going.![]()
Explain 04 then.Another totally sour grapes and inaccurate statement, which in behalf of all us STL Cardinal fans, I find it typically uninformed and biased. Of the 5 times St. Louis has played NYY in the World Series, they've won 3 of those 5.
Again, congratulations are due to the Red Sox for a great Series. Let's hope the Yankees fall off the map, next year.![]()
