Either Mussina or Hughes.... I would've loved me some Ian Kennedy action though.

Just because it's Clemens doesn't mean s*** to me. An injured Clemens isn't the best option to win the game (As it has been seen tonight)

Right now might be a good time to start setting up that vodka IV...

Psh. Amateur. I always have a vodka IV.

Mmmmmm vodka.

On a happy note, we have ourselves a situation going on here. 1st and 3rd, 1 out, 1 in already. 3-2 Tribe.

EDIT: Situation fixed.

Johnny Damon 3 run bomb. 5-3 Yankees.

Good..Take it to five games and burn up all the pitching for both teams..

I really don't know why Phil Hughes wasn't in the rotation to begin with. Great job by him today- he really got the Yanks going.

Joba currently in a little bit of a jam. I think they are taking him out....

EDIT: a bigger pickle. Hmmm...

And what does that have to do with a momentum shift if Game 4 is a do-or-die game for the Yankees...?

The momentum is going to stop when the Yankees run in to Sabathia.

Cleveland could still change their minds and start Sabathia tomorrow. He'd be on short rest but I'd take Sabathia on short rest over Paul Byrd (who the **** is that?). That leaves them with Carmona if they have to go to a game five.

If the Yankees start firing on all cylinders and it looks like they might be then I don't think anyone will stop them and a game 5 in Cleveland would be the last thing the Indians want.

Since the Yanks paid a 40 percent tax (fine) on their third violation of excess spending back in '05, maybe Cleveland would welcome taking it at home, for revenue's sake. :)

was listening to colin cowherd today (as i do most of the time) and he said red sox fans should root for the yankees because they want them to be as tired as possible, etc. he also called red sox fans that don't cheer for the yankees tonight meatballs (stupid homers) as they aren't thinking.

i don't buy that because i think if you let the series go five, one of those teams could go on a tear and destroy the red sox. i want the series to end with as little momentum as possible for the tribe if i was a red sox fan.

so i ask, are any red sox fans here cheering for the yankees?
