I'm impressed. I've used apps and the stock panorama in Android and the pics I'm seeing are better. I'm so glad I have a 4S. I'm going on a trip to Vegas and this will just be sick....

Off topic, can someone else check something. I'm in tapatalk and scrolling thru all the pics on this thread crashes the tapatalk app on my 4S. Does it every time.

I'm not insanely hyped for this as my Sony camera has been able to do this Panorama Sweep for 3 years, BUT it is a welcome addition and will be fun for sure!

It's kind of funny though...as there are more than a few apps already that do panorama and most of us never use it.

But when apple makes it a native feature everyone wants to do it....

One, Apple made it really easy to use, ease of use will automatically get more people using it.

Two, it's built right into the Camera and easily accessed from the lock screen, so again, easy to get to.

Three, it works a lot better that other Panorama apps I've used.

Great shot. This is what a panorama mode is made for. To show a sense of scale. Incredible stadium and a great game. Atleast the last 20 minutes. But i'm guessing you rooted against Madrid?
I'm a Manchester City fan, yes :) Indeed, it's a spectacular stadium and although I'm disappointed about the result having led twice, I had a great time. Only been home a few hours!

Can someone say how many pixels tall your panoramas are? Does this tend to vary at all?

Is there an option to lock (or not) exposure at the start of the panorama? Has anyone seen noticeable changes in exposure from left to right?

Do you hear the shutter going off multiple times while taking a panorama? Or is there any other feedback to let you know when an exposure is occurring?

Thanks,
Tom

Guys turn on HDR as well to get more colour depth especially in skies and clouds.
