http://slickdeals.net/f/6964624-upgrade-and-keep-your-unlimited-data-with-verizon

----------

there is much discussion of that on the old thread that was closed as well as the slick deals thread. It depends on whether or not you want to terminate the line the old phone number is associated with.

----------

Probably the AOL rep - tell them not to do the UDP at night and especially not at night during the weekend.

Are you filing an inactive pricing request to get the UDP restored? Or just returning the phone to get the line canceled?

Thanks for the wiki. Havent seen it before and it looks like there are quite a few working methods. Now I think I understand why I had to call Verizon when I had to activate my gs4. I was moving from a ip4 to a gs4 and obviously I needed a simcard. I guess that upgrade meant you had to call them.

I'm going to try this through apple since it seems like the fastest way to get my phone.

Here's a quick question on giving away these UDP lines: Do I have to keep the new line for any amount of time before I give it away?

The ones I sold six months ago I had for two year (and were therefore out of contract) so I don't know if there's a minimum amount of time to keep an account.

Based on the messages here and elsewhere I'm going to guess the line I picked up today can be given away immediately but just want to verify.

I don't know how many more nights I can stay awake until 3am - my darn store never has anything at the 2pm refresh so I am stuck staying awake every night until 3am!!!

I have a feeling that you will get lucky tonight:D:eek::D;)
hahahahahahaha. I sure hope so!! Seriously, I have sold 1 UDP line locally and given the other one away to a friend. Not sure I am brave enough to try ebay but I will likely have to as I don't know anyone else who wants one.

----------

So suspending a line and reactivating it via online won't incur any possibility of an ill change to udp???
I have suspended and reactivated UDP lines b/f and no change to the line's data plan.

the customer already filed it but i don't want VZ to dig to deep because they can look at line history and see our neat little trick.

No, you are not right. We are not scalpers - we are heros, bringing iPhones and Verizon UDP lines to the masses at affordable prices.

----------

Are you sure?

If you were heros you'd give them away. Isn't profit your motivating force? :)

I was under the impression that you can't have a suspended line and then add a line. Is that incorrect?

You can still add a line if you have a suspended line, as long as the line you are adding *from* is not suspended. This means the number you enter into the apple website.
