people are thirsty for 5cs more than Pluses. LMAOOOO!!!

Not true!
I was asking for $250 and was told that was WAYYY to high as the phone is a year old and the new iPhone just came out!

Of course I also got in an argument who said no one would ever pay my below retail price for an iPhone 6. Her reasoning was that you could get it from Apple for $200. I think I already stated it yesterday, but I'm so done with people lol.

Lol sure! I was told if I gave them $50 OR a phone to put the line on they'd take it. How nice!

I will take it for $25! <wink wink>

Has anyone experienced an STI Resolution error while activating the new line in store? I only have 3 lines attached to the account right now. There was speculation in thee closed thread that an STI error was due to a returned phone that is still pending somewhere on Verizon's server. Anyone know anymore details or is this due to my account being flagged in some sort?

Did you recently do the BB method to use a UDP line's upgrade?

No didn't do that at all. In fact picked up two phones fine yesterday. Today I got this error. Cancelled it in store and bounced. Will try again later this afternoon. Wanted to check around here before I tried again.
Are you stuck with pending activations on your 2 lines? Go to the SD wiki to see how to test this - it is switch device - test from both lines.

I don't have the time to read through everything... hopefully someone can help me out.

I'm currently on AT&T and would like to switch my entire family (5 or 6 of us) over to a Verzion unlimited data plan. Is there family share plan with unlimited data or is everything individual? What are some of the plan options? Is hotspot included? Could I add this to an iPad?

How do I get started? I would need all new iPhone 6/6 Plus also.

I have been able to add UDP lines to my account and I have unlimited texting as part of my main line.

What's the issue people have with unlimited texting?

He was only being offered the free UL texting option, which is a no go. And since he has the $20 t&t data promo, he can't play games with his account.

As long as you can select pay as you go you should be fine.

If I pick up an UDP through AOL, would I need to buy the first phone outright? After that, can I add the other 4 lines using the loophole? How do I actually activate the new phones if I don't have old sim cards?

RTFT and if you don't have time then stay on ATT.

Pending Activations Rear Their Ugly Heads on New Lines

Ugh - I always get stuck with these. I left both new phones on the new lines for at least 2 hours b/f putting old phones on them and I can see the new phones in the device history - yet still stuck with pending activations on the lines when I try to do a switch device.

My advice is to leave the new phones on the new lines for at least an overnight to try to avoid this. I know Marky gets away with a lot of sim card switchery w/o consequences, but I have never gotten away with it.

YMMV.

Just checked my account and talked to a chat specialist and confirmed there are no pending activations. Maybe I'll try a different phone from apple. Hopefully it was a fluke.

Getting Ready for Round III

Wish me luck!!! I really can't take any more of these late nights!

Try the switch devices to see if you have a pending activation - that is how I see mine.

i've been lucky. have not received any pending activation. I thought it may have happened after BB method, I was lucky.

None of my lines UDP lines had any problems so far, knock on wood.

The good news is that if you AOL the line, the PA goes away at least mine did from the BB method when I AOL'ed it.

it's a very involved process, especially 5 or 6 lines.
As Jules said, if you don't want to get involved, then stay on AT&T. In the long run unless you really care to nickle/dim your bill, may not really worth it for you.

You can also offer someone some compensation with experience and time to get everything done for you. Please don't expect people to hand everything to you.

Information is power, also cost time and money.

Better put your reading glasses on :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I have a life and can't spend all day reading on MR... I work 50-60 hours a week and I'm finishing up my engineering degree. I assumed that a person like you who has nothing better to do than hang out here all day and stay up until 3am waiting for a phone, could help me out. I guess I was wrong.

i used bb method with my line before i found apple.com methods.. so cannot aol it, and so far no problem. i used my 5's sim without problem, but dont know when apple payment comes out it will cause any problems.

Only worth it if you get the Nexus 6 and unlock bootloader, root, mod, VICTORY!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

No problems with AP as it does not use NFC SIM.
