So I'm getting the "Cannot add a new line. You have reached the maximum number of lines allowed on this account type" I only have 1 line on my main account and 2 on a sub. Verizon says all is clear and they are geeking to add as many new lines as I want! CORe "supposedly" cleared all pending apps (again)

I've done 7 total iphone orders with Apple

Verizon claims it must be an issue with Apple just wondering if you guys have any thoughts? Thanks!
 
CSR's have been trying to enforce it as of yesterday (I got C- blocked twice today by ill informed reps) you just have to politely inform them of the actual rule in the revised AOL documents they can easily reference

Reps must have been briefed on this because they get a tad hostile referring to "abuse by some" causing the changes

I actually had a 15 year old UDP messed up and lost today and after 3 hours on the phone still waiting to get it restored
Wow this sucks!

I am glad I am all out of lines. I was going to try again tomorrow but I think I am throwing in my hat and I have decided that renting UDPs is not for me. Too much stress for not enough cash.

I have had my fill of dealing with the general public. I haven't worked with the general public since I was in college so I forgot how freakin' stupid the great unwashed masses are. And these people aren't even the great unwashed masses - they are smart enough to be able to use the internet and figure out about unlimited data options. I can't imagine how stupid your average Walmart shopper is.

This all sounds crazy on their behalf, I get it many of us have added multiple lines but we have actually bought them business and even new subscribers smh!!

How did you get in contact with CORe and what did you say?

Just a heads up to not expect to be able to do any AOLs after Wednesday 11/12.

Verizon's definition of "After" has historically been implemented as "Starting ON". I have zero confidence in being able to do any Unlimited AOL transactions ON 11/13/14.

We got advanced notice (via leaked internal screenshots etc) of the "After 8/24/14" change requiring 2 year data term on upgrades. What happened? Immediately on Sunday 8/24, stores and the website started popping up the new requirement which had to be accepted.

I do have a last minute AOL question: I have tried to do AOLs to two friends for the past 3 days, and every time VZW states they are sending an email out for the customer assuming the line to approve, they don't receive it. It doesn't seem like it's being blocked by spam since one uses gmail the other uses mdn. Does Verizon still allow an on-the-phone method of approving this? They used to play a pre recorded messsage and have the person agree to have their answers recorded. I am very hesitant to "call back in 24-48 hours if they still don't have the email"

Verizon's definition of "After 11/12/14" means (to their computer system) 12:01:01am EST on 11/12/14.

Likewise, the "After 8/24/14" change requiring 2 year data term on upgrades happened immediately on Sunday morning, not Monday morning 8/25 as we had hoped.

So you're saying tonight at midnight it is over? Where are you getting this information?
 
Wish me luck... Going to pick up my last phone and try to convert it into a MHS for myself on my iPad. Already have the phone ordered and hoping that there are no issues for pickup at the Apple Store tonight.

After fraud hold by Verizon and PayPal, countless moron Verizon reps, countless illiterate eBay buyers and more time talking to Apple "Geniuses" then I can count I'm ready to just take a nap and find me a nice giant Nexus.

The personal hotspot works if you insert a Verizon SIM into an iPad, even if you don't have it activated on your account. Apparently the carrier settings on the iPad don't block it.

Very sorry for the typo, I edited my post. Since it is announced as after 11/13, I believe Verizon's system will enforce it starting ON the 13th.... because of the way they enforced the "After Aug 24, 2014" changes starting the morning of Aug 24.

this is certainly a possibility the CSR gestapo is ready to enforce it ASAP

Convert the 1 in your main account to a single line 700 minute NW family share plan with pay per use texts and UDP and then you can add 4 more lines to it.

Being that they said no more lines for some of us, can we just port it out to someone and close the account and get a line thru them? I am asking because I just need 1 line for my wife making it 2 lines and I am done with this nonsense.

The Apple Store guy called and they said we had too many lines on the account and that was it. We never spoke to CORe. We have 3 UDP's on the main account and 2 on a sub.
 
If I ask they may think I got another person involved in their supposed fraud. They really need to remove that word from attachment with many of our accounts. We aren't criminals.
No we are not but I think this proves the glitch was not intended. They do not want more of these UDP lines out there.
 
I want to know if anyone made it to triple digits lines added. I was late to the game here and didn't catch on until a little over 2 weeks ago, otherwise I am thinking I could have made 100.
