they prolly assigned a CSR to the "forums" and said find out whats up and plug the holes lol
the tier 2 tech guy was trying as hard as he could and couldn't understand the error he was getting and put me on hold for awhile and came back and said it is no longer compatible with UDP.
Really though, who needs only 30 minutes of calls, no texts and UDP, lol! People who want to put a tablet or a MiFi on a UDP line that's who. Verizon doesn't want to sell UDP MHS for $45/mo. And that is that.

Well if so many of you weren't moping around here whining that you couldn't get rid of your lines I would have never thought it up so you have no one to blame but yourselves!!!! Or at least that is how I am going to think about it.

Me too but honestly, I am distraught right now! I can't believe they took the $45/mp UDP MHS away from us without warning!!!!! I was going to do 1 more tomorrow. Now what?!?!?!!? What do I do with my life now?!?!!? I am nothing. FML.

Where the eff were all these people 2 days ago who want $45/mo UDP MHS lines today when I can no longer make them?!?!?!!?!? I was telling these people this was ending and they weren't biting so I wasn't making lines and now they all want them. Sucks to be them b/c I am not giving up my 5 lines for personal use.
A week ago I had some people hemming and hawing over whether they wanted my any mobile lines that are like the best deal of the century, now they want them and I am not risking they will take them tomorrow and since I can't turn them into $45/mo UDP MHS I am not willing to deal with them any more. Really? You weren't sure if $82.50/mo on Verizon for basically unlimited everything was worth it? I had some idiot sprint user who just didn't know if they wanted to pay like $10 more per month to switch to Verizon. Hey bud, hope you like Sprint's crap network b/c you are stuck with it now!!!!

Yup, did this yesterday for the first time and it was ridiculously easy. Saw something about setting up a VPN to avoid detection so now need to look into that further. Took about 15 minutes total and $5 for tetherme app.
SUCCESS! I purchased a phone last night and did not activate the device at all. I put a dumb phone MEID on the line this morning with the rep. This morning it reads that I have the loyalty plan in tact!
