I see people are stressing about the unlimited MHS deal. I am planning to just use a UDP line that I AOL'd ($40 a month) and use my Jetpack with it as needed. After all, I am free to put the sim card into any device and there is not much they can do to stop me from doing that. Obviously, I will not call in to Verizon with it active on the line. Tethering from my spare S4 means having to have the thing plugged in religiously. Not an option!

Now its got me wondering..I set up my wife's account for autopay yesterday (bill due 17th) and next thing I know I get a email saying the account was paid in full (six days early) and then shortly after all five of the lines suspended. I couldn't even dial 611 to get to CS, had to hook up the satellite internet and use google hangouts to call. The rep didn't offer any explanation, just reactivated all the lines. Going to be paranoid until I get a few bill cycles under the belt.

Yes it had a phone on it, but that device was likely also present on some of the lines I've been AOLing...a cheap LG Lucid I got off ebay to make sure i didn't do anything to tie up the iPhones.
But you already have a FS some people don't and they just want a MiFi.
For me, my FS is filled with phones and the users use iPhones and don't want me to jailbreak their phones

Gtk perhaps the SIM card trickery is what did you in? I get them to put PDIs on the lines.
I'm sort of regretting my purchase of the Note 4 retail version. I did save some money using the BB method. However, I lost my most important feature; the ability to stream Spotify through BubbleUPNP to my Denon. It requires root and the exposed framework installed. Maybe I'll sell my Note 4 and buy the developer edition.

Thanks, Jules. You are right and I really do want to get her back on UDP because my two older kids are data hogs but I am not sure if I will be able to merge a new line onto the account because wouldn't that be the same as doing it at apple (just without the subsidized phone)?
The $20 T&T discount/line was added to the plan itself several years ago so I am not clear on how I could merge a line from a different "plan" into it. Starting to think I should have just left well enough alone...
Anybody know if there is a way to swap numbers betweens plans? I have a UDP line that I use for work that I don't need more than 2gb data on so maybe I can find a way to swap the phone numbers?

Business can still take UDP out ? 1 business has been taking all my lines. They are removing some TDPs and replacing with UDPs.
Same here. I think we'll just have to wait till Friday. Our issue if we are able to still work with businesses is how long one account can hide from the fact that we are AOL'ing so many lines and all these Analyst reviews coming up during activations.
Ok, Verizon tried to screw me over and not let me add a single line after having 11 AOL & purchases at Apple & the fact I paid them $650 didn't help.
So I transferred the line to my wife as a new account & then retained a any mobile plan with Unlimited data from someone else. I then went online ordered a phone for in store pickup making 3 lines total. I am now in store trying to get 2 more lines, making it 5 AOL'ing 3 but keeping 2.
Does the 5 line new account run the chance to be suspended? Should I just take 2 phones and go or do all 3?

True. I have done everything.. fax them my SSN, DL, Utility bill as requested and still Analyst Review. It's getting annoying.
Everybody that buys the iPhone will get analyst review, per Verizon rep I talked to
The other account im working with isn't getting the Analyst reviews. So there's got to be some sort of trigger.
If your account been placed on "equipment fraud". You can't create new line or accept any line. You can still AOL line out.
Your wife account will be fine until they flag it down.
My wife just got off the phone with fraud again. There is a hold on her account for adding too many lines. It sounds like the sub-accounts triggered the hold. They created a new sub-account each time a $45/month loyalty plan was created from our Family Share. The fraud rep could not see the number of lines on the account currently, but knew there was 5 sub accounts.
No it would not. I have been able to merge the NW 450 minute, payg text UDP lines into any other NW plan and the Any Mobile plan. So make sure you AOL an individual plan line - DO NOT AOL A FS line! The reps will convert it into an individual line and drop the UDP and they will tell you that they did not drop the UDP.

I don't think having 5 lines is a problem it is all the AOLs.
Why do you work for Verizon AOL department and are going to sit around and eat bon bons all day long because no one calls you any more?It's like xmas a month early !! I can't wait till tomorrow

It's probably good, we have 3 lines which is what we started with and I don't want to get stuck with 5. It's still fun watching this play out for others, so good luck today!
