Took me a whole day to get the courage to call the first time. All they ever asked was name date of birth,previous address, and sometimes they read off some names to see if I regonize them.

But none of that could force Verizon to let me keep the UDP lines. I am glad I acted when I did to take the account b/c if I had waited much longer or hadn't been reading the phone forums, I would have missed the opportunity to AOL the UDP lines.

My guess is that VZW will still allow "legitimate" transfers between close family members, albeit unannounced. That's basically where AT&T is now.

Well, to use an analogy, it's Monday morning at 7am and everyone here realizes they need to be at the office in 2 hours.

I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long.
 
This was fun but when I think of all the hours I put into this and I was actually telling customers from my other businesses I was busy (getting iphones) so I couldn't be around to take their wheelbarrows full of cash!

UDP is like crack never get started youngsters lol 😱:apple:😱

Wait what do you mean - do you have to call after you place an online order or in store when you pick up?

But when you don't have to pay for cable and dsl internet for the next 2 years that will make up for it!

Anyhow if you are busy all that does is make your customers think you have a thriving business and you must be better than the competition!

I am going through withdrawal now and it sucks! If my account hadn't been suspended, I would order another tonight and see if I could AOL it. Now I am all scared of having to call the fraud department every time I order.

Why is it when I call they tell me otherwise? Just my bad luck? I only called twice.

Also, is there any way to port an AT&T number to Verizon but still keep the AT&T UDP line to sell? From what I have read the GV trick doesn't work on AT&T.

Not bad luck. Just bad reps no different than misinformed verizon reps or bb reps etc etc.
 
I initiated an AOL transfer tonight and the person I'm transferring to was told by Verizon reps that they he will lose the unlimited data once the AOL goes through. Has anyone else been told that? If so, is there any workaround? AOL transfer is currently in pending status and needs to be accepted before completion. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hang up and try another person, don't say bye or anything so they wont note the account.
