Told him I'd happily give him a refund, if he gives me back my UDP line
I agree - he needs to file an inactive pricing request and try to get UDP back. If that doesn't work, he needs to argue with Verizon to cancel the line w/o the etf.

This is like someone saying they want a refund b/c they dropped their iPhone and shattered the screen.
 
I'd call to complain. You have nothing to lose and if you are keeping it for yourself how are you to know that they weren't "supposed" to sell you a UDP.

Yea, we're keeping it. Regular 922-0204 or is there a better department to handle this?
 
Oh, maybe you should head over. I bet that place looks like a bunch of chickens running around with their head cut off. They need mama Jules to remind them to read the SD wiki.

I wish we could have seen the look on Verizons face when they discovered the UDP option and where it was lol.

Wonder if they will blame Apple publicly ?
