Damn I should've added a line earlier so I can have my Space Gray 6+. Now I'm stuck with Silver FML. Well at least I got UDP. Be thankful & give thanks on Thanksgiving for that & more!!!

Yes, that's the right attitude. We had a 2 month window to open and AOL unlimited lines. Verizon gained some customers, including me, along the way, and we all got the chance to get subsidized iPhones either to keep for ourselves or sell on. This was a glitch. It had to end sooner or later. At least we got some warning.

I wish we could have seen the look on Verizons face when they discovered the UDP option and where it was lol.

Wonder if they will blame Apple publicly ?

No way Jose. VZW gained a lot of customers because of this glitch, and while they may not be as profitable as they would like, they are all still locked into 2 year contracts. Let's face it. VZW needs Apple more than Apple needs VZW. I'm sure VZW was kicking themselves in 2009 when it became clear that Apple had a hit on their hands and it would be two more years before they could get the iPhone. That said, of all times and places for a glitch to arise, Apple.com at the biggest iPhone launch to date was probably not what they wanted.

Or maybe they did want it

iPhones sell verizon coverage sells

lol I don't even recall what the hell I was searching for when I saw something about "upgrade and keep UDP" I was like "what you talkin about Willis!"

These were the most interesting forum threads ever :)

Yes, but that said, VZW's network is congested now. I have a T-Mo iPad data plan, an old AT&T UDP, and now a VZW UDP. VZW tends to be slower than T-Mo and AT&T.

In my area Verizon LTE isn't showing any signs of congestion.

I believe apple requested the feature. There is testing protocol. Apple and verizon systems are tied together. Someone had do in store testing on line testing, udp line option was easy to discover. Unless they had computer guys in india working on verizon and apple systems then udp could gone un noticed.

With influx of new customers verizon will add more towers. I wonder what 4q will look like. Maybe verizon is mad about getting customers that are getting more and paying less then if the gotten everything share plan

So will verizon unlimited line go for 10000$

maybe...but likely minus a zero for sure, mine won't leave for less than $500 that's for sure

Wait until all those vzw jetpacks & cradlepoint routers get delivered to folks that assumed those mhs plans.

lol yupp but even with all these threads I bet we only added 1000 to 2000 new UDP's total unless there are a lot more lurkers than I think

Damn... it's finally over. I guess I have to get a hair cut and find "real" job.
No matter what RollTide says this WAS a real job. Took a lot of work on my end and Verizon benefited a whole helluva a lot from my hard work!!!!!
