Well we just picked up another iPhone 6 in Mishawaka... UDP included. Can we count this as the last one? :-D
It was 450 min single line and 250 txt. It was purchased Thursday evening and not picked up / activated til this evening. (Sunday Nov 16th 6pm)

So someone help me draw conclusions???
I think you win!!!!

----------

the huge spike in unusual activity over the past several weeks from a few dozen accounts.
A lot more than a few dozen. I know I enabled at least 10 other people to do this by giving them my lines and then instructing them how to do it themselves or by telling friends how to do it. Then there were the likely 100's of people on SDs who found out about it on the upgrade thread. Then all of the lurkers on this thread, not to mention AC and HoFo.

I know I sold or give away few lines and each person added more lines using apple.com to sell give away or for personal use.
There is no way for verizon to put all those lines back on out accounts ?
JulesJam what AC stands for ?

Why did the tier 2 techs say they couldn't remove them? What if they just reactivate the phones on the TDP lines?

They said they did and I would see the pending activation off the line in 24 hours (I did not). Reactivating is complicated because these are lines that belong to my college students who are living in different cities....reactivating the iPhone on the original line it upgraded leaves them without service and more than likely will be the end of the world so I'm told by them.
I'm kicking myself that I didn't get an extra UDP line by add a line or AOP but am grateful that I was at least able to upgrade to 3 iPhone 6's and maintain 3 UDP lines. But its not enough - I wasn't done (sigh)

I forget who but one person reported a line came back to him but he got verizon to toss the line back to the person who took it.

AC - Android Central.

So sorry! You shouldn't have been left with the PAs if you did 4ever method but who knows why it happens sometimes and other times it doesn't happen.

We all wish this glitch would come back. Maybe next year during the iPhone launch it will reappear, then we would know it was intentional.

The price is where we started a month and half ago…..
but the boom of rent-a-line service…. their price is falling… saw one for less 100 bucks.

Noticeably smaller crowds today (Sunday) at Portland's flagship Apple store and they didn't have the "express" line set up for iphone pick ups. I picked up a gold ipad mini 4G 128gb to add to one of new new UDP lines :apple::cool:

ipad mini 3 - overpriced? probably but I had a $500 gift card (intended for an iphone 6 plus add a line purchase) and some windfall UDP profits I needed to burn lol

I was being sarcastic. Many on this thread seemed to want to believe that they were the only ones profiting from this loophole when in reality there were thousands exploiting it. It was like the old herbal essence commercial: and she told two friends who told two friends and they told two friends...;)

The PAs will fall off on their own after the first full billing cycle. Not sure why you ended up with them but a lot on SDs reported that they fell off on their own after the first full billing cycle after activation of the new phones.

When I try to add a line on apple.com after typing in master number and master ssn. It than asks for my password for Verizon account.

Once I put it in. It gives me error message "unable to process".

What is the problem? I know it's the correct password cause I can log into my Verizon wireless account on verizon.com.

Why isn't Apple letting me add a line (have older 1400 min family talk plan).

Apple.com let's me "upgrade" and log in to my main line. But not letting me sign in by adding a line

Any suggestions?

You have to call apple.com now to add a line.

It's not asking for your passWORD it is asking for your passCODE. It is a 4 digit number.

If you can't remember it, you have to call Verizon.

However, the add a UDP line is over despite some people clinging to the hope that the site is down. Verizon has blocked those with NW FS plans from adding lines through apple and best buy. And for those with NW IPs, the Unlimited iPhone option no longer shows.

----------

Site is down for add a lines. I've gotten the same message since Friday
And you will continue to get it for the rest of your natural life. Or at least until the next iPhone launch if the glitch were intentional, lol!

Have you actually tried this? When I call apple.com to add a line to my Any Mobile plans they get the same error as the online site. They phone reps are ordering through the same system as the web site. The store reps have a different system - it is a POS system. Same is true at BB - online system is different from POS system.
