I just listed my UDPs for $1,000 each![]()
Hate those kind of people.Dang it... He bought one of mine. He was the one asking me to ship it sealed. Wonder if that is so it would be harder for me to prove the phone worked when he got it or something 🙁
Thankfully I haven't shipped yet, but will have to figure out refund w swappa tonight.
That would be interesting pulling a udp back and selling them for 500$each?
how many do you have?
I am going to put it up 999 just so they'll buy from me!
i "accidentally" released a line .
just got it back . two calls.
First one said when I get it back, i would lose UDP
hang up, called again
second csr, got it done within 10 mins with everything intact!
Thank you Colorado!

Idk what to tell you as I have never seen an 800 message plan before. What happens when you click on your line and to the left click on change minutes text or data? What do you see as your message plan?None I selected pay per text. I use google voice for all my msging
Even before the 13th it was variable whether or not a rep would tell you that you would lose UDP if you did an AOL. Some were genuinely surprised when the system did not kick you off of UDP b/c they were under the mistaken impression that it would.i "accidentally" released a line .

I bought an unlimited line on eBay for $432. Seems expensive but it was month to month so I'm able to upgrade and get a discounted device. Should have kept a couple of the 24 unlimited lines I had. I did keep one but I needed another. Anybody sell to e-wireless?
Anyways, AOL yesterday on the unlimited line was a cinche. I set up my plan to the exact same plan as the sellers (1400 min, unlimited texting) and called pretending my niece was moving in and I was putting her on my plan. The rep didn't say a word about the UDP and its still intact. The best advise was to not mention it. Plus I was chatting about the weather with the guy and I think he was focused on our conversation. 🙂
Must be that guy 🙂))))))). Must not have been the only one thinking it wasn't a bad deal
So you had a family share plan already and so did the seller and when you AOLed the seller's line, they merged the 2 family shares?Anyways, AOL yesterday on the unlimited line was a cinche. well supposedly the promo will only be UDP for the first year of a 2 year contract. And that was according to an AOL rep who got everything else wrong. You bought it from e-wireless ? If a person is right verizon will be having udp promo.

what is the scam?E-Wireless is a giant scam and will soon be shut down ! There are also lots of BBB and FTC complaints against them.
what is the scam?

Thanks but while that is against Verizon's CA, it is not a scam if the person is getting what they paid for. And it is something Verizon could detect and shut down quite easily. From what I could read online, people have complained to Verizon about e-wireless and verizon reps told them they had to deal with e-wireless b/c that is who they had contracted with. That they are renting lines that they shouldn't be renting

I don't know anything about them other than what you have written and what I was able to quickly read about online but if they are scamming people I don't know why Verizon would not disconnect their lines.
A scam is when you steal from someone or otherwise do something to deliver less than what a person paid for in a deceitful or other wrongful way not just a mere breach of contract. Are they doing that? If they are, why isn't Verizon doing anything about it? For sure Verizon can disconnect their lines for reselling services if they are renting lines out b/c it is a breach of the CA. But that is a civil matter not a crime.
What they are doing with personal info and other details of the way they operate is a crime so I am just warning people to stay away from this company. The owner and some of the people that work there have records so I would think twice before I would have anything to do with them. I will now be quiet before they threaten me with another fake lawsuit by email 🙂
I don't have any lines to get rid of anymore so I am out of the game. What they are doing with personal info and other details of the way they operate is a crime so I am just warning people to stay away from this company. Again, idk what is going on with this company but if something wrong is going on I don't understand why Verizon doesn't disconnect their lines. Verizon certainly has hassled more than a few of us here for committing the egregious acts of adding new lines, paying for phones, paying our bills on time and then bringing Verizon new customers. If Verizon would shut down/flag our accounts for not doing anything wrong at all, I am baffled why Verizon wouldn't shut down someone's lines if they actually were doing something wrong.

True. And another thing to keep in mind, it is not illegal for people to enter into contracts where one party to the contract gets a better deal than the other party to the contract. So while I may think it is a bad deal to pay $150/mo to rent a Verizon UDP MHS, the people renting them enter into those agreements willingly and without coercion. It is not a crime to offer someone a bad deal and have them take you up on it.Remember, reselling Verizon's service and whether that is ok with verizon is solely an issue between verizon and e wireless.
