When someone snatches it it will show it as available on istock for a little while but then istock updates and it shows it as gone. And if you try to add it to your cart again, apple will show it as unavailable.

These devices have been showing on istock as available for hours and apple shows them as available then when I check out they aren't. Clear cookies start again and the same thing - apple site always show them as available as does istock.

Has anyone else had the experience where the apple store is showing a device as available when you select a particular store for p/u, but then when you go to put it in your cart it says it is not available?

This has been going on for hours now. I keep clearing cookies, etc. istock shows the devices as available, too.

Try to checkout. Even sometimes in cart shows not available but during the checkout you can select that store for store pick up. Happen to me for few times.

thanks I did, but no luck. I guess it is just an error with apple's system. That's 5 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Looks like another late night for me, sigh :(

Apple God...spare a 64 GB for me...silver and gold preferred...the 16gb is just worthless...Apple being so smart why in God's name would they do that? The smallest one should have been a 34 GB. Anywhooo....now wonder the 64s are selling like hot cakes.

How do you know there won't be no more opportunities? I thought we'll have till the end of qtr?

I'm as frustrated as Jules...just as I'm about to taste that phone...it's PUFF gone...but good comes to those who wait...it'll be another sleepless night lol

16gb after the 8.1 update leaves 11.4 available on a new i6. 100 more for the 64gb is definitely worth it


im waiting to get another udp from apple and stock just reloaded near me and they got a 16gb 6 in gray and a 16gb 6 in silver. wondering if I should hold for the plus or not

no more for me, only. i cannot spend hours sitting refresh istocknow.
 
I experience the same thing as Jules. It shows on Istock and then Apple says something different as I checkout.

I can't either...that's why the plan now is to maximize my time by targeting the times of day I see the most activity on device availability. Morning hours are great. It's the only time I'm not at work.

Backup plan may be to get a 16gb just to open the line for my daughter and then doing a second purchase...keeping the phone I want and selling both the line and the 16gb device that I don't want. I want to at least secure the line.

Silver and yes it was a regular just the look I wanted. I had lots of opportunities to jump for a plus but they are too big for my small hands. I guess I'll be on a trip up to NY tomorrow. It's 1.5 hrs away.

yea I have a 6 64 silver and love it and they just opened a new apple store 10 mins from me so now I have 3 all within 30 mins and you think they have any 64s in the past 2 weeks? nopee! haha

But Remember not to mess with text options if youu have special promos linked to your plan (i.e. Talk & Text $20 discount/month) - thanks for the reminder J.

And on another note - I was able to unload my extra UDP line locally but no biters on the nice fancy IP6+ I have (Gold 16GB is probably the least desirable option outside of India & China)

I refuse to do emoticons, but for cnotes and the emoji-addicted crew, here's a thanks to all the helpful iphone slangers....ah... I mean helpful forum associates.:cool::cool::cool::apple::apple::apple::cool::cool::cool:

SNAP!! you were LUCKY...that is exactly what I was after...the Silver 64 GB because it was the best value for your money (decent GB size).

Can't complain though...I'll just have extra storage which can be useful...

Woot - thanks for posting this!!!! It inspired me to try again and I GOT A 64GB iP6!!!!

Watch an iP6+ will b/c available tonight at my store, lol!

Also, the times to check istock are 2:10pm and 2:10am when apple refreshes its inventory database.

jules i saw today that Verizon is going to have a gnote 4 dev edition. whats going on with vzw? a nexus now this? whats next? lowering unlimited data plans for loyal customers by 50% haha

Well last year they supposedly were going to have one and then they sold them off of Samsung's website for like an hour, I think 20 sold and then they never sold them again. Crazy.
