they have all the models that i would consider. i was reading about update for apple usually is as much as 1gb, 16gb maybe be hard to update. so will not get any 16 for my mom. just creating too much work for myself.

ok, I've created a sub account for one of my udp line, went to apple online to add a line but did not find the option to add with udp like I did with my regular lines. Am I missing something ?

If you pay for PDANet app, you can do it for free on HTC, LG and Samsung androids running kitkat. It likely won't work when the phones are updated to Lollipop but perhaps PDANet will find an exploit.

i think the supply of verizon iphone 6 is down again. i've been wanting to get one for the last 3 days.... 64gb is very hard to find... maybe that's why?

There are phones available at the store near me but I'm stuck w/ this stupid add a line that I shipped to home that I can't get to activate.
Apple got the phone itself activated, but I don't have a line on Verizon yet so it isn't activating w/ Verizon...and I can't add a line until that happens.

I would like to share my experience as a customer in this AOL UDP phone flipping madness. My interest in this was solely to get a UDP. I find that I need quite a bit of data now and then when I travel and I hated paying ~$110 for my share everything plan with a single line and 3 gb data. I use very few minutes and never use SMS. I do sometimes require a lot of data. My iphone 5 was purchased when it came out 2 years ago and was on a plan for 2 years. I cancelled about 4 weeks ago when I was eligible.
I initiated the AOL process from someone on ebay. It went well initially and the rep was able to confirm unlimited data. She told me I would get an email to confirm the transfer. I never did, so I called back. The second time was the charm. The pending order plan showed a NATIONWIDE Talk&TXT Share 1400 plan. I was told by the seller that this was correct and the UDP was included. I agreed to the transfer. Called tech support and was told that the line was associated with a different phone a 5s. I gave my info and they tried to activate my iphone 5. 2 different techs told me that the sim was bad. They are now sending me a new sim in the mail.
Is the sim being bad normal? What could explain that? It worked fine on my old plan and has never been removed from the iphone 5.
Will the act of getting a new sim send somehow change my plan or remove UDP?
After I get activated can I drop the 1400 to 450 and remove the texting?
I would like monthly to be 30(data) + 40(450 minutes) + tax/fee/surcharges = roughly $75

gdiebel - what happened was that the person who sold you the line either did the SIM card trick that was discussed here last night and had that 5s on 2 lines at once or they have not put the 5s on another Verizon line.
Did you terminate your ME line?
Can't he walk into Verizon get s SIM card? Since now he owns the line?
Or is the problem because the phone is still on his old line?
I did terminate the ME line about a month ago, account was totally payed up. I can still log into myverizon, but I get a message:
Your wireless account has been disconnected.
JulesJam, I will read more about the SIM card trick you mentioned, but is this something I should be concerned about, ie will I be able to activate with a different sim? Should I contact verizon now and cancel the AOL transfer? I think I have 14 days to do that.
EXTREMELY unlikely if you never removed it from your iP5 and it was working fine in the iP5.
The person who you got the line from did not take the iP5s off of the line before they AOL'ed it to you or likely created a problem on the line by playing SIM card tricks and putting the same phone on 2 lines at once.
If you have not registered yet for online access, register the phone number. Then log onto Verizon and click on activate or switch a device and see what it says when you try to activate a device that has not been on your account before and type in your IMEI and ICCID of your iP5.
