While this has been a lot of fun, it has been stressful, too. I think I have done 6 now and not sure how many more I have the mental health for, lol!

I don't know how you'all does it. I'm not even involve in these flipping game, only added 2 lines for personal use, just checking in here from time to time to see the condition of this madness.

Answer everyone of his 50 million questions over several days. Goes to transfer line, Verizon says you can't change the plan. He demands a refund and said I lied. I explain to him, for the 20th time, that you can indeed change the plan. Try a different rep, or at the worst I know for a fact that it can be done after the fact.

offer to do a 3 way call to "help" him through the AOL that way you can have a safe word to let him know when to bail on an insane VZ rep. Just forewarn them you will be on the line when they share their secret info with the rep

In fact with a 3 way call you could complete the entire AOL in one call

The safe word would be "Jules Jam" !!!

Tell them to use 2 phones, 1 calling verizon, the other call you. Put verizon on speaker and just have the caller mute your side when it comes to the private stuff. You can actually do the entire release and take over in one call to the rep

So I thought I was toast. Walk in, "I'll take two of your finest iPhones kind sir" I tell the fine Apple soul. Turns out they have 6+, hmm jackpot. So we start the process everything going well. I'm buying them for my friends you know. Then comes the plan selection part. He's goes, "Do you have unlimited data?"😱😱"Who me? hmmm yea I do". "Well you won't be able to keep that you have to pick on of these options" as he shows me all the first options for data. I tell him I'd like to keep my same plan the 700 Talk & Text. He selects that, then comes the data options. He slides it down, unlimited data?! I in my best surprised face so "ohh let's try that!". He tells me he's going to have to go check on this. I look around and look for Jules and break into a cold sweat and prepare to run out the door. He comes back and says they said to try it. 😱😉😀😀😀😀😀😀. We do, it works, off I go with my iPhones.

Where I live, retail b/c most get turned away w/o a phone but you have to convince them the Verizons are GSM SIM unlocked. The apple reps where I live tell them the devices are tied to Verizon 🙄

True but the headache of dealing with eBayers at these prices make you rethink your decision after 5 or more 😕. Still an amazing deal and glad both parties are making out like bandits 😀

Edit: I would love to pickup a couple cheap ones from eBay and just leave them parked on a suspended number for 6 months. I think verizon has an option for when you go overseas and want to suspend your line. The contract is still valid but you are not paying anything while it is parked.

You can do it right away. But you can't do it if it the line comes to you with a provisional device ID on it - you have to put a phone on the line and then suspend it w/o billing.

Thanks. I might try working on getting 2 verizon phones and pickup a couple cheap lines on eBay to park. What is the longest time you can park a line for. I think a buddy said 12 months but not too sure about that.
