Dude you are totally confused and your writing style sucks, lol!

You can have at least 6 lines per account/subaccount - 5 lines in a family share plan and at least 1 individual plan. So no you are wrong, you are not limited to 5 lines per account/subaccount. However, you cannot have more than 10 lines total in your name. So you could have this for instance:

Main Account - 5 FS lines + 1 individual line

Subaccount - 4 FS lines

I have AOLed 3 lines so far and none were told they had to change and in fact they didn't change. You need to tell your buyer to tell the rep that they want to AOL the line exactly as is no changes and they will do it.

They ABSOLUTELY CAN AOL a line as a single line family share plan if that is what they want. They then can add UDP lines to that plan themselves via apple.com.

Clearly English is not your first language or if it is, you went to the public schools, lol!

You are too dense as to not know you just contradicted yourself. I'm done.

Am I the only one this has happened to?
Yes you are. Could you please post a screen shot of the email blacking out your personal info?

Can't you unsuspend make individual line right before you aol? Then send it?
Yes you can as long as you follow those rules I posted above.

So I ordered a new UDP line from apple with a 6+ for home delivery, still waiting for the phone which is supposed to be delivered Thursday. But I get an email from Verizon this morning that says they've added the new line. I go to myVerizon to check and it's got 2GB data, not the UDP I ordered.

Am I the only one this has happened to?

Interested to see if this happened to anyone else for home delivery? Wonder if they are trying to patch this "glitch" as we speak and we should order all we can asap! Haha

How, I don't even have the phone yet. Should I "return" via apple.com or wait until it arrives and then return it?
Can you cancel the order?

Next 64GB iP6+ that shows up in my neck of the woods is being ordered for in-store p/u.

Too late to cancel but I can return. I'm guessing if I initiate a return online now they'll just issue a return label. If I wait until it gets here and return in-store maybe it would be faster? Obviously I still want the phone but not sure if I could return it in-store and then try to buy it back via in-store purchase. But I'm guessing that wouldn't work either.

Haha yea my thoughts exactly! I picked up a 6 plus 16gb silver last nite and there is still one available this morning but wondering if I should wait to early afternoon and hoping a 64 + pops up.

According to their website they don't take online order returns of iPhones but my stores do take them. YMMV.

Also search the thread for "core" to see what you need to do to get the line off your account quickly.

You can do in-store purchase and select UDP but they won't give you that phone right back, they have to re-inventory it at least at my store that is what happens.

I am only buying the 64GB iP6+ for resale.

Is that why I'm getting all these email from verizon, been ignoring them all morning.
Well don't keep us in suspense, read them!

How many lines do you have on order? Are they ship to home or p/u in-store?

Got it, I'll try to get them call the Core Department at Verizon to cancel the line immediately when I return the phone, thanks.

Do you know how long it takes the store to re-inventory?

I think it depends on how busy they are. You can ask if they can set it aside for you and see what they say but I am not sure how you can explain it to them - why you are returning it but want to buy it back.

I had to cancel a line due to ordering 2 in a row and they would not let me repurchase it right away in-store. They said they had to reinventory it and that once it was, it would be sold to the first person in line who wanted it and I had to get in line for it behind the others trying to buy new iPhones. YMMV. Can't hurt to ask perhaps your store is nicer than mine?

Well, I guess all good things come to an end. I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did (nearly 1.5 months including the pre-order window). On a positive note, your inventories of UDPs should appreciate a bit as the supply dwindles (until the next time it opens up).

Worth a shot, I guess. I could tell them that Verizon screwed up the features and I just want to return it and start over (as opposed to having them call Verizon). Should I open it and take out the sim card before I return it?

You absolutely won't be able to buy it back if you do that. It won't be reinventoried then it will be refurbed.

This is an added line, not an upgrade so no issue with the SIM card. Once your line is canceled and the phone is reinventoried, your account will be disassociated with the SIM card.

It may just be me, there were several others on SD who were expecting their new line phones Thursday also so if this isn't an isolated incident I expect we'll be seeing some posts. I had tried to pick one up in store when this first started and it wouldn't activate so I cancelled and ordered for home delivery instead. So my account may be flagged or something.

It's not over until you can't buy them in-store!

I noticed that apple.com still appears to let you add a UDP line.

So is the unlimited iPhone option gone???? I I have a pending order so I can't proceed and look for myself..
Thx
