What phones are you buying for the lines? The only thing I can get in a store is a silver 16GB 6, nothing else. All the other phones are a minimum of 7-10 days.

I've already sold the phone - not inclined to take the line back and eat the ETF - I do feel a little bad - may offer to giver her 3 extra lines for free

there have been no issues with them activating the phone. I also tell the buyer that they must use a pre activated SIM card.

That will ALWAYS work if you can get people to do it.

I never actually have a phone linked to the line and there seems to be no problems.

There will be no problem as long as people follow your instructions and activate the phone using a pre activated SIM card. If they don't, well then you could have problems if the line recipient hasn't put a device on the line yet.

I was devastated when they stopped allowing this and making you purchase a data plan.

You can still do that using Jaycemiskel Method.

Mifi has no wired Ethernet. I have personal running Synology at home.

Look at the 4g LTE broadband router with voice. It has 3 Ethernet ports. I posted a link to it in this thread earlier.

FWIW, I noticed that Chicago area stores got a LOT of gold phones in today, in multiple capacities. A few days ago, all they had were 16GB models (regardless of color). It's funny how this time last year the gold iPhones were all the rage. I wonder if the 6S Plus will be the same (i.e. settle into a more "normal" pattern once the initial novelty wears off).

But that time has since past. Just have to keep paying your bill.

This was much earlier in the year. I was doing something rather different than I'm doing now- selling one unlimited data line with 4 basic lines for .99 on eBay, all lines would get upgraded, then I would sell them all together. So many line activations, it wasn't funny, and I did it all through verizon telesales
