Adding a line has nothing at all to do with your credit score. Only new Verizon customers get a credit check. That preapproves you for 10 lines. After that, all Apple is doing is checking with Verizon to make sure you have not gone over 10 lines.
As for CORe, CORe gets involved according to Verizon's internal credit history that has to do with how long you have had the account, payment history, suspicious activity on the account, etc. No one here knows what those criteria are exactly so we can't tell you whether or not an Analyst Review will be required for you or not.

CORe is OK - that is just about verifying that Apple is checking your DL to verify identity or because of suspicious activity.
Verizon's Activations Team is not OK, although some here said it worked out for them, most have lost UDP once VAT got involved.
Thanks. I've had VZW for all of a week, but I did have Verizon FIOS, and I'm sure I wouldn't be the first person to open up 2 lines in a short period of time. I could be a high-roller or have a significant other.
So if I understand you correctly, if it goes to Verizon Activations, I should tell the salesperson to cancel the whole thing. If it goes to CORe, my FICO score and easy ability to handle a second monthly payment of $75/month should make it a smooth affair. But if they don't need to call anyone, I can safely let them scan it, and even take it out of the box and activate it, and still be OK. Is that correct?
You will likely have to have an Analyst Review if you add a line.

Dude, no. Didn't you read what I wrote? Once you are a Verizon Wireless customer, your FICO score is irrelevant. Your FICO score only matters in the initial application to get an account with Verizon wireless for up to 10 lines.
So adding a 2nd line is a non-event as far as FICO is concerned. So why would an analyst review be necessary? Maybe I'm legitimately adding a second line. I could have a fiance or aging parent for all VZW knows.

I actually disagree that you will get an analyst review. I think you should be good to go, it's only your second line.
Even if you do get the review, it's a quick call to VZW, nothing to get nervous about.
Cradlepoint MBR1400 with usb Pantech UML295 is a great enterprise class router with external antenna capabilities for the 4g and WiFi
Jetpack works great for basic home WiFi / 4g access but MBR gives you full router options and you can always take the usb Pantech UML295 with you when you travel
Ask Verizon. Best we can deduce, if you haven't been with Verizon very long to establish a payment history, that will do it. Adding too many lines too quickly, that will do it. Having too many pending applications, that will do it. None of us work for Verizon we are just going off of the personal experiences we have and what others here post.

I got one on the first line I added to a newly AOLed UDP line in a subaccount and I have excellent internal credit with Verizon as well as a pristine credit history in general.

This is true as long as they call CORe. Someone just yesterday I think it was explained that some idiot Apple rep erroneosly called the VAT and they lost UDP.

My house is 3k sq. ft. and a regular netgear router works throughout my whole house. A jetpack will be fine, yes? No need to get all fancy if regular routers work in my house?

The lines must activate upon delivery etc otherwise we could just SIM swap and never activate the new line ???----------
the Jetpacks rock and have great WiFi but they also have (2) external 4g antenna ports that will jack up your signal like crazy if you use a Wilson cellular trucker antenna outside the building (I go from 1 to 5 bars at my country place out in the sticks)
I use the Cradlepoints when I need to use advanced router features like dyndns or port forwarding for my ip cams etc

Well I have a 5S that's supposed to arrive tomorrow afternoon so I guess I'll find out then. I was just wondering since this is the first "Add-a-Line" through Apple that I have done.
0-2 for UDP Buying in Store (not personal pickup)... What gives?
I am 0-2 in adding UDP at the Apple store without having purchased online prior. Both times that I have walked into a store and tried to purchase and choose UDP when adding a line, the option has not appeared on the handheld that the Apple reps use so I have abandoned both transactions (no I didnt run out of the store, just told them I wasnt interested if I couldnt have unlimited data).
Any idea why I cant choose the UDP option in store but have no problem using the same number(s) online and choosing UDP. The inventory in SOCAL is dry and the only option for scoring a phone the past couple of days has been in store not online.

Yes you need a big hole for the antenna cable I normally use 1 stick of dynamite and the hole is plenty big
In many cases the pipe is more important than the hole for the antenna
At a few of my locations I run the cable out my garage door to a temporary antenna stand and I put the antenna away or take it with me when I leave
If you've ever had cable TV or DirecTV you already have the holes
Because the pools of inventory are different. Online vs in-store, numerous times I have been able to walk into a store and buy a model not showing available for sale online.
Not only that but something funky is going on with inventory showing up as available online until you go to check out and then you get an error. I am not talking about during peak refresh times but models that are showing available all through out the day.
Perfect example, if you try and buy the space gray 128gb IP6 available in zip 93101 right now, it will show available all the way until you hit purchase and then it gives an error.
It will then show not available for 20 minutes or so and then as available again with the same result. I havent been able to nail a thing online for the past 36 hours.

During the plan offering, it'll show option keep current plan NW talk & text and then More Everything Plan with various Data Plan. You need to choose Keep Current Plan then hit Next (top right). Next screen will show you the data plan. You have to Scroll Down all the way to unlimited data 29.99 plan.
You walk away twice without going to second page.

Nope. For newer houses, all cables enter side of garage and already prewired to the Smart Box. I did convert all my phone jack to ethernet port. Most new houses are already pre-wired with cat5e.

If you already have good LTE signal from one of the room, you can leave jetpack there. Wired connection is way much better than wifi.
So the first page displayed showed a bunch of different data plans, I didn't see a choice to keep current plan, is it toward the top of the screen?

I've had a few of "those" houses but to bad they forgot the external antenna wiring
The 4g is wicked for ip cams with a battery back up the crooksters would literally have to cut down the cell tower(s) to escape a new youtube video starring them

Has anyone aol a line to someone then have them aol one of it back. If so do you have any issues ? I tried it and the aol rep put me on a sub account of the new owner evan though I am now the owner of one of the line. Going to try an apple order later today.
Are you going through the screens correctly? You have to hit 700 minutes first and press next. The next screen should show unlimited data and the txts options. That first screen will show the 700 minutes and also a bunch of plans for my everything plans.
