Does anyone, preferable who had taken Econ 1000, know if you can suspend the whole account? If I have five lines on my family share, can I suspend all five lines?
Thanks.
I did 4 out off the 5

I have all 3 lines in my mother's name suspended w/o billing. No active lines in that account. All 3 lines have the same iP5s on them, lol! As I posted before, different SIM cards though.Does anyone, preferable who had taken Econ 1000, know if you can suspend the whole account? you can, see my post above. That's what I did. Second billing is coming up soon, trying to see if it can be suspended all together.
Yes - the TDP line now will be a single line 1400 minute NW FS plan of its own. You can have the AOL rep change it to the 450 NW individual plan with UL texting to reduce the cost to $90. But if your goal is to terminate this line and port the number to the new UDP line, I would just suspend it w/o billing while you do the port.
AFAIK, the $20 T&T data discount is not a plan feature - it is a line discount and there is no way to get it on a line now. So you could replace the TDP line with a UDP line but the UDP line would not have the $20 T&T data discount.
You could try it and see by moving the TDP line to a subaccount, suspend it w/o billing, then add a UDP line to your FS and see if it has the discount. If not, return the phone and cancel the line then merge the TDP line back into the FS plan.
They would be on a separate 1400 min FS plan than the main account lines.
Yes you can but you can't merge them as family share plans, the subaccount line must be converted to individual plan b/f merging back into the FS plan.
You have to be careful doing this b/c the reps will convert them to the UL T&T 1GB loyalty individual plan to do the merge and on their end for some strange reason they will see UDP but by the time all is said and done, UDP will be gone. I lost UDP on a line this way. The rep swore she was seeing UDP but it was gone.
The way it has to be done is to convert to the 450 min NW individual plan with UDP then merge back into the FS plan in the main account.

It is purely a supply and demand thing. Once the supply dries up, the price will go up.
----------
And if you could deliver a $44.98/mo UDP line with a 1 year contract, you could move your lines faster I am sure b/c that would be a great deal for a MiFi or tablet line and currently, no one is offering it for sale so limited supply.
Not trying to tell you to do it, just pointing out the advantages of the "product".
The market value of things doesn't go up unless the supply/demand dynamic pushes it up.
And hope that Verizon doesn't stop allowing you to AOL lines with UDP intact. ATT doesn't allow it, although I know people say you can get phone reps to do it. But officially it is not allowed. There is nothing stopping Verizon from saying UDP lines can't be AOLed. It would probably end up like ATT in that it would be a YMMV kind of thing depending on the rep you got on the phone. However, it would make the AOL process a ton more time consuming and risky.
The price of a UDP line has nothing at all to do with iPhone supply or demand. It is entirely about the UDP line supply/demand dynamic.
Did you not take ECON 101 in college? Nothing has inate value. Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them and what people are willing pay for them is determined by supply and demand.
Got another AR - I had 10 pending applications open due to checking out and not getting a phone. They closed them out for me. I was able to see CORe's phone number but I don't think they will speak to anyone other than their 3rd party retailer's employees.
Please post back!!!Gonna give the 30 minute plan a shot, worst case I end up paying ETF.
I got an AR in-store and apple rep called CORe. The CORe rep said I had too many pending applications and I told the apple rep to tell them to close them b/c all of the others were failed attempts to get a phone.Hey Jules, which dept did you speak with to get those applications closed? I think I am in the same boat as you were.
thanks!
Let us know, please!Sorry for expressing any sort of optimism here. Wasnt meaning to get literal in my analysis of the UDP market. Also who says I went to college (kidding).

no - you return the phone w/in 3 days and the line is canceled you owe nothing.Gonna give the 30 minute plan a shot, worst case I end up paying ETF.

The free one would be mine
I'm at Apple Store now. Verizon activation servers are all down they are telling me... Hmmm..
I can't help but wonder if they're fixing the glitch at all and that's why it's down.
The party might be over![]()
I actually doubt it, but I always get worried.
I had trouble accessing my Verizon account today.I'm at Apple Store now. Verizon activation servers are all down they are telling me... Hmmm..
CONFIRMED! If you an individual plan with unlimited everything - talk, text and data - and can't add another UDP line, all you have to do is drop your unlimited texts down to 1000 texts and you can add a new UDP line.

Is this something new?
Is this something new?
Exactly! It was my friend I was trying to help. She had UL everything and all she got when she tried to add a line was the ME data plan options. She was having issues adding lines to a plan with unlimited text before. So this quirk is indeed quirky. Apparently, you can add UDP to a line with NW 450, 900, or UL minutes, but not if it also has UL text.
