LMAO! That's awesome. Where you unloading the UDPs that quickly?
This is a brand new UDP line I ordered from apple.com - it was a NW 450 minute, payg text, UDP individual line. I just asked for it to be changed to the 30 minute loyalty plan for $15 and to keep UDP. Voila!!!!Ok fill us in. What are the details on the loyalty plan? Do you have to have had the account for x amount of years? Off contract? Any other catches?
In the beginning any UDP posted under $200 was sold in a few hours.

Night reps are people too you know.I take back everything bad I said about the AOL night reps, lol!!!! Changing to the 30 minute loyalty plan did not change my contract end date.
Just Howard Forums now; things have definitely slowed down though. This is the first one this week, I did 5 last week. I've been sitting on 2 6+'s since last Thursday. The rep handling it didn't even seem to know which line she was supposed to be moving.
Convert them to $44.98/mo UDP lines. If you use the hangouts dialer and have decent 4G LTE coverage where you live, you get Unlimited talk, text and data for $45/mo on Verizon, lol!I gave away a few over on Howard but there's so much competition over there. Tried a few places I figured I would get some hits and didn't get a single one.
hahahahahaha, well that's what I get for putting so many in my mom's name!Glad I put all these lines in Jules name, I think I'm just going to let them hang. No Nexus for her.
But they are soooooo bad in general. I am so nice to all the reps, but I am willing to hang up on them if I don't get the right answer. I learned my lesson that one time when I lost UDP on a line.Night reps are people too you know.

And if you don't want to use the hangouts dialer or don't get a great 4G LTE signal everywhere you go but are willing to routinely carry both a tablet and a phone with you, then you could have your phone on the $45/mo UL T&T 250MB plan connected by WiFi to the tablet and have unlimited voice, text and data b/t the 2 devices for $90/mo.Convert them to $44.98/mo UDP lines. Actually I was just looking and page plus has an UL T&T plan + 1GB of data for $40/mo and that is a MVNO on Verizon's network so for $85/mo you could have unlimited everything on Verizon's network if you were willing to carry a tablet and a phone with you.And if you don't want to use the hangouts dialer or don't get a great 4G LTE signal everywhere you go but are willing to routinely carry both a tablet and a phone with you, then you could have your phone on the $45/mo UL T&T 250MB plan connected by WiFi to the tablet and have unlimited voice, text and data b/t the 2 devices for $90/mo.
It extends your contract by 1 year if your contract is under 1 year and the 30 minutes are it - NO free Verizon M2M minutes, NO free N&W minutes.Any other catches?
Where's Marky when you need him?but I thought if there was a real fraud alert AOL's are completely out of the question.

This rep was a fuggin' idiot!!! She transferred the person's phone to my wifes account before transferring the line, which instantly triggered a fraud alert! Now, to clear it the fraud dept has to get involved.

I don't understand - does this mean the rep put the recipient's phone on the line b/f it was transferred to the recipient? Why would that be a problem? This rep was a fuggin' idiot!!! Meaning what - they hate seeing lots of AOLs?Good luck with Fraud department.... They hate this sort of activity.....
Lol, how are you even getting attention on eBay?
I don't know!! I get 1 or 2 questions every 3hrs or so. Not really selling any lines just a bunch of "will it work with my plan?" "how much is it a month?" "is this legal?" I gave a guy two lines FREE and he bailed because the rep told him I should give him the phones on the lines too! So he asked me to give him the iPhones with the lines free...![]()
Yes - the TDP line now will be a single line 1400 minute NW FS plan of its own. You can have the AOL rep change it to the 450 NW individual plan with UL texting to reduce the cost to $90. But if your goal is to terminate this line and port the number to the new UDP line, I would just suspend it w/o billing while you do the port.
AFAIK, the $20 T&T data discount is not a plan feature - it is a line discount and there is no way to get it on a line now. So you could replace the TDP line with a UDP line but the UDP line would not have the $20 T&T data discount.
You could try it and see by moving the TDP line to a subaccount, suspend it w/o billing, then add a UDP line to your FS and see if it has the discount. If not, return the phone and cancel the line then merge the TDP line back into the FS plan.

Thanks, Jules. So I should be able to add a new UDP line for $39.99/month ($9.99 add'l line charge plus $29.99 UDP). Only thing I would lose is the $20 discount. Need to see if I still have an old basic phone to lessen the ETF hit and then will try this later today. Too bad closest Apple Store is three hours away. Will have to get someone else to pick up the phone for me, assuming I can find one.
As for the legacy plan, seems like a good option for home internet.

ebay is so risky I would never sell this type of stuff it risks your ebay rep which may or may not matter and a few chargebacks or fraud issues and paypal will freeze your account for as long as they want and then they may end up cancelling it after the freeze plus all the hassle to basically give away UDP's
You'll really be pissed around April when we are getting $350 for the UDP's again
If I'm gonna deal with the idiots on ebay I need to get paid big bucks to make it worth my time

From all I have read, the T&T data discount WILL survive an AOL so you may be able to get someone to AOL the TDP line from you. Lots of people never use more than 2GB and paying only $10 for a 2GB data plan would appeal to them if they needed to add a line or to substitute for an existing TDP line.Need to see if I still have an old basic phone to lessen the ETF hit and then will try this later today.
Some people have had luck with the ship to home option but it is hit or miss.Too bad closest Apple Store is three hours away. Will have to get someone else to pick up the phone for me, assuming I can find one.
Have the rep put a PDI on the line when you authorize the AOL.I gave a guy two lines FREE and he bailed because the rep told him I should give him the phones on the lines too! So he asked me to give him the iPhones with the lines free...![]()

True but there are people who are on other carriers that may want them for home internet.Legacy plan is good if you want it on a individual line. If you can have it on your FS plan, it's still 5 bucks cheaper.

But did someone do that or did the AOL rep do it?This rep also changed the number. From what another seemingly more knowledgeable AOL rep said; it looks like someone hacked into our account, put their phone on one of our lines and changed the phone number.
So is the problem that the AOL rep screwed up so bad she triggered a fraud alert?Waiting for the Fraud Dept to start taking calls.
