So is the problem that the AOL rep screwed up so bad she triggered a fraud alert?
The AOL rep triggered it. After this happened, we spoke to another AOL rep who said she didn't understand why this line wasn't transferred from the beginning, everything was fine and there was no need to change the number/phone etc before transferring the line off of our account.

The fraud department hates seeing over 20 lines added and transferred away. Looks suspicious, they don't understand it, and they are very likely to suspend accounts due to that if they get their eyes on them.
Well, their company offers AOL's as a service that I pay for so they can bring it up internally if they don't like it. I don't pay them every month to form an opinion.
