I saw the same message but never got any confirmation. Ordered a few minutes later and received confirmation for in store pickup.
 
did any of you guys paid, or get the reservation number with the promise of an email and thats it. Thats where i am, no email, no option to pay...

Not yet. They said they'll send out an email with links to complete the order while holding your place in line
 
Yeah thats the message I got. If you try to do the IUP after that email you cant. At least I couldnt. So I am guessing we are in a pending state.
 
I got one order through normally with a Nov 3rd date, and my 2nd order said they'd send me they email when it was time to finish the order. Hoping for a November 3rd delivery date on that one too. i wish the error message had more detail.

This happened to me last year and I can tell everyone, at least for me, it was all good. I had a pending reservation for a Jet Black 7+, and needed to confirm the reservation within 24 hours. I got the link/email to confirm roughly 12 hours after the first email, and it promised (and delivered) exactly as if I had been successful at 3:05 am. So don’t sweat it as long as you have the pending reservation number. It’ll probably be early this afternoon, but Apple will make good on the option to confirm. If you do, enjoy your new X!
 
I have a message that says 'there's a pending reservation for the phone number you provided. You can only have one upgrade request per phone number" I haven't received an email or anything....
Same here on the order for a 256 GB VZW in silver I placed on my iPhone. I then instead went to apple.com on my MacBook and was able to reserve a 256 GB VZW in space black. I would prefer silver, so if I can keep that order then I just might do that.

Was it as simple as just click on the link to confirm order and good to go or do you have to reorder process again?

My problem is I didn’t screenshot it, I was so perplexed by the message.

Hopefully all goes well, I did put an order in through Best Buy. But would have been better if it was through Apple.
 
So now it lets me go through the IUP process, Dec11th plus delivery date. I didnt go through with the process cause thats bs if my order didnt go through

I did it with Best Buy... if Apple actually sends that email, I’m definitely canceling my Best Buy order.


I gotta 3rd pick up date through Best Buy, but I really don’t trust that Best Buy will get that many models.
 
I got the reservation number (printed the number to be safe) from Apple one hour ago with the Delivery on November 3rd but no email yet. Should I be worried?

Complete BS if our orders didnt go through. Not my fault it wouldnt let me order. I honestly probably will skip the phone and keep my 6s if my order didnt work

I guess an hour ago it let me fill out all the info on the website for the IUP like I just got on my phone for the first time now, when I attempted to order though it did not let me order. Wonder if it would do the same now
 
At the time I did screenshot, but I didn’t need it all. The confirmation notice re-presented the reservation number and I was off to the races, finalizing the order. But again, it took at least six hours before I got the confirmation. If it’s anything like what happened last time around, don’t worry unnecessarily. It WILL come through.

I got the delivery for November 3rd then went on to confirm my reservation #(still no email as of an hour ago). Am I good?

Noted. We shall see. This is the worst pre order ive ever had, its always been smooth for me
