pending reservation email

this is the thread to make me feel better about the 2-3 weeks date i got
I tried to find out the answer to that right away. Only saw this error message above the user id and password box:
Shows nowhere for me, I only had that one screen that I didnt screenshot saying pending reservation
What is the process like? Do they keep your place in line? I’m sure if I was to order at that given time I would of had a November 3rd delivery.
I ordered twice on my account through apple and att. Luckily I was able to get my wife’s. I ain’t tripping. If I can’t cancel one of them, I’ll just buy it full price and sell it.
I’m scared to order on AT&T before that email comes because if they’re waiting to contact the carrier it’s possible that the Apple reservation may conflict with the AT&T one.
Also, I’m second guessing the last for SSN I entered and am freaking out lol
Me too. I don’t wanna conflict both and end up with nothing lols
At this point if if my original reservation doesn’t materialize, will probably just wait for the next gen since we won’t get ours until 2018. By then the new one will be leaked lol
So now you can order through Apple using AT&T but it’s giving you the 5-6 week window. Sooo out only hope is wait for those “reservation” emails and hopefully it kept out spot in line.

Also sucks cause I was on Verizon’s site at 250 and could’ve ordered there. But i did not want to be tied to a carrier in case I want to switch
My experience last year was that it kept my priority, as if I had been successful ordering at 3:05 am. I also know that the pending state never showed up under my Apple orders. And the email took a while, but it absolutely showed up. Interesting to see that it looked like the carriers faired better than Apple this year. My AppleStore App was dead in the water till nearly 3:20. Oh well....
Yep this is the same for me. We may have gotten screwed. Unless hex can confirm this happened for him last year
Yeah Verizon was smooth. Too bad I don’t want to be tied to a carrier otherwise I would’ve bought from there
At one point earlier in the night, it let me go all the way to checkout but then denied me saying I had a reservation. After that it went back to the “pending reservation” pop up every time. But now I can get to the checkout consistently so I’m thinking we may have gotten screwed
