pending reservation email

Same here, funny thing is Best Buy is still showing Nov 10th and it will let me check out. But do I take the risk of using my upgrade with Best Buy?

Not sure what you all are seeing. The pending reservation did not show up if I tried to make a new order. In fact I did, as I was suspicious of the whole pending reservation, figuring I got screwed (deja-vu, anyone?). Placed the order with Apple then later got the confirmation email, which I confirmed and then subsequently cancelled my then 3-4 week order which I placed well after my first attempt. Apple let me keep the priority at the time of the initial reservation, and I had a release day phone. Hope it works out for everyone; just sharing that there is some method behind the madness, based on my experience.

Super bummed that I got this message as well. Did everyone that got this message have the "Remember Me" setting turned on in the app (the one that remembers your carrier information)? I had that on mine, and I wonder if that has something to do with it.
The worst part is I was so flustered during the whole thing I just clicked done after barely reading the message. I didn't take a screenshot, didn't write down the reservation number, and I'm not even sure if they listed my correct email address because I don't think I bothered to check (although I'm sure they have the right email since they probably just pull it from the app).

I just got the "Your iPhone has been reserved" email after panicking and ordering via AT&T (for Nov 2 - Nov 10) and Apple (5-6 weeks). Should I try to cancel everything now or wait until the actual reservation ready email is sent out and try to work it out with Apple?
Finally got an email just now... but it’s just the reservation number, and says the same thing as before: I’ll get an email when it’s time to complete my order. No delivery date mentioned though. I ordered (er, tried) immediately when the Apple Store app finally let me in. Delivery date said November 3rd before the error screen, so hopefully that sticks.

I don’t remember did we choose pickup in store or ship prior to the reserve screen? I hope we have the option to choose once we are set

Yes I did have the “remember me” option enabled. During my order, it kept giving me errors when connecting to Verizon, saying to try again later. Then finally it just spit out that reservation screen instead, and there was nothing left to do.

Same here I should be in 2-3. Everything is ready to go in my Best Buy cart for Nov 10th but I just don’t believe them.
I got an in store pick up for nov. 3 through Best Buy and feel like I should have waited on the reference number. I already have an install agreement in my line from Best Buy.
