Penryn iMac and Mac Mini Updates Soon?

Our only hope is that they update the iMacs before the new MacBook and MacBook pros come out on WWDC 2008.

P.S. : FutureShop is still having their sale on the current iMac-line until next Thursday.

futureshop is just guesswork... they can stop their sale at anytime, and have done so in the past...

but honestly, WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG!!!!!!

that's a good sign, but omg i would be sooooooo ultra pissed if they only updated MacMinis tomorrow... could you imagine?

also, i don't understand why it would be impossible for apple continue to offer the current generation refurbs alongside new updated iMacs... i mean, they're offering the previous versions of their notebook lines in the refurb section...

Means nothing. The minis come and go. Listings frequently disappear the same day they are posted. Minis never seem to be in great supply, unlike the iMacs which have been on the U.S. "refurb" list continuously for several weeks.
 
I ordered my iMac(2.8) on Thursday and still hasn't shipped yet. I wonder what's the delay!!! plus the delivery date is set for almost a week in half from today, geeez, so much waiting and waiting. I wonder what should I do if the new one does come out tomorrow?!!

The changes to the imac will not be as drastic as the mini. You should be fine no mater what happens:eek:

Venders would see new numbers today if they were going to be released tomorrow. It's just not going to happen.

i think news based on venders having new numbers for the MacBook Pro / MacBook 2 months ago was the first time i've ever seen a rumor based on new vender numbers... so i wouldn't be so sure...

The apple store is down!!!!

Could this be Mac Mini day?

Edit: It's just the US that's down, Ireland is still up, so it's probably not a new product release :(
 
yeah, swiss store is still up. but it's always changed after the US and UK.
my bet is for Penryn minis and imacs. though I don't need any :rolleyes:

we'll see in a couple of minutes/hours

all i can say is that i'm glad i picked up my iMac a few weeks ago for a bargain price... i can't imagine this will be a great update!

i'd be happy to be proved wrong though ;)
